Helping some friends with a roll cage and we're notching 2" tubing with a hole saw. Problem is they are getting 2 holes max out of a hole saw.
One problem is speed, they're running way too fast.
Other problem is quality of holesaws, princess auto doesn't have great stuff.

Any recommendations for a great hole
Saw?
I've always bought Lennox online but I'd like to know if there's something better worth trying.

I did some recently and had bought a Starret hole saw off amazon. I lost teeth on my first cut. I switched to Lenox and had much better luck.

Maybe a Lenox diamond hole saw? Haven't used one myself but might be worth a shot...

I've always used Lenox or Morse hole saws for notching tubing.... never had one get to the point that it wouldn't cut.

have you consider switching to those higher torque slower spinning drills ? makes a big differences in drilling metal.

I use Lenox on my JD2 notcher for DOM. They last a pretty long time.

Thanks,
I'm going to bring a Lennox bit with me and my slow high torque drill and show them how to cut holes.
They think a cheap hole saw in a cheap drill wide open is the way to do it. Hopefully I can show them different.

It doesn't matter what hole saw you are running if it is turning to fast. Hole saws in metal like slow real slow.

I've got two of them and love them. I was using a hole saw type notcher before I got the Lowbuck nothcers and threw the hole saw one in the scrap metal can.

How does the lowbuck notcher do different angles?
