Still part of the garage, but just outside the tandem I'm working on. I installed a hot/cold hose bib in the garage and plumbed it to the utility sink in the laundry room. Washed the car with warm water and it was awesome!
The plumbing. Some pex and sharkbites made easy work.
So I'm curious about how I'm going to secure this thing. The bib has a couple of holes that would probably normally just have wood screws going into the wood siding. But this is drywall. What is a good way to secure this bib into place? Long enough screws and it can secure to the wood of the utility sink cabinet maybe?

I like the place. Very nice for sure; like the color choices in the work-area with the cabinets.
Regarding the hose bib: I am not sure if I can really contribute - but am looking into putting a similar set-up as you have here (I have a utility tub that shares a wall like you do). The way that I would secure that diamond-plate backer piece would be into a stud (if possible) and perhaps a little liquid-nails. ...which brings me to the question: the supply lines to the utility tub do not have a shut-off: why? I would want to be able to turn the hose bib off at some point if needed.

I think I found the solution to my mounting problem. One of these around each supply line under the sink and it should stay nice and steady. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005G8UTUC/?tag=atomicindus08-20
As for a shut-off on the supply line. There is one before the T. Meaning if I need to shut water off it would be to both the tub and hose. But that's fine. Can't think of a time when I would need to use the hose while working on the utility sink or visa versa.

Nice on the hot/cold water in the garage! My potential garage also shares a wall with the laundry/mud room so I could do the same thing. That would be fantastic!

Put some under cabinet lights in there. One problem with the stainless top is that any light that points down glares off the stainless. So I used a philips hue LED strip and attached it to the back side of the little guard things pointing to the back wall. Works really nicely.
Wow, cabinets + lighting look great. I love the green stripe!

Thanks, wish it was a little brighter, sometimes. It's a philips hue strip that I have turn on and off automatically with a samsung motion sensor and smart hub.
Walls and Keezer Seahawks colors. I really like the pop of that action green.

Just got it from Home Depot. Not in stock though, had to order it online. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Woodford...ture-Hot-and-Cold-Sillcock-22P-6-MH/204799965 I liked this one because it had a 3/4MPT and 1/2FPT at the end to allow for lots of choices for sharkbite fittings.

Yeah, with the initial hooks and then 4 lag bolts (two top, two bottom) and resting on that footing, it's more than strong enough. Not sure if it'll take the entire 1k pounds it advertises, but if I ever feel like I need to load them up that much, I'll put the front feet on and either a plank or some pucks to support the front a bit better. So far, everything feels super solid with just wall mount and sitting on that footer
