There are 2 types of mt1-22 ladders. Original nice and pretty for store sale $169. then the barely boxed ones wrapped In plastic and styrofoam that they sold in Black Friday.

Yep was shopping for just a few pegboard magnets in store and happened to notice the low price on the bit holders. Not yellow-tagged though, instead had the NLP downward arrow logo.

What is NLP?

Yep it's very rare NLP's are 50% off or more.

And in general do NOT be lulled into a sense of complacency w NLP's - it's a misnomer as the price is almost always fleeting. It's more of a "sale" on most things, particularly things like ladders that are not clearance.

Now on the two relatively low-dollar items I've posted - and given that they're not likely big sellers ever - the lower price(s) may stick around for awhile.

The BF mt1-22 has a 250lb rating, the regular mt-22 is beefier at 300lb

Damn my local store MET team is on it. Was tons of husky sockets and ratchets the other day. Hit a penny and gone.

Ladders are .02 here to but none showing in any remote stores. Ill check by work tomorrow. I could use one.

For the lower price stickers there's often a date on the right lower side indicating how long that price is good till. Good indicator that it's a sale or targeted discount

so, this has probably been covered before, but what does the MET team do with it all?

i notice that the local hd is always hiring for the MET team. there are always fliers posted around the hallway leading to the bathrooms/employee lounge area.

Toss them in the compactor, return to manufacturer, donate to Habitat for Humanity Restore, take for themselves

I've REALLY wanted to get on night MET for this reason. I do know a guy who does it, he says the amount of good product they just throw away is amazing.

But I have my own business, no need to go **** with corporate America late at night for minimal pay.

The MT1-22 ladder is priced at 30.02 at my store too, but I can't find any. They probably didn't have many (or any) to begin with on Black Friday...

I noticed in the clearance section they have a TON of Tapcon anchors that they just moved there. Can't wait for prices to fall on those. Hopefully they won't sell out before then.

Still trying to find one of the little fridges or freezers, but no such luck yet. Probably don't exist, they have very limited qty of those small ones in my store.

The pass-thru ratchets & sockets *finally* pennied at my store. At first it was "no item found" so I went to grab the box. I was thinking I remember they were having connection issues last time so I went back and re-tried, along with a socket and neither were found (and no connection issue pop-up) so they've hit rock bottom.

I walked up to the self-checkout area with the box in my hand and started scanning away. It was almost comical how long it took me to scan all those darn sockets! There were probably 4 or 5 employees around there, none offered to help, none said anything, just totally let me be... I eventually got them all scanned... inserted my $0.82 in the change slot, and walked out with the box.... lol.

Haha, just realized I had enough penny items I had to pay sales tax!

Appears all Motorola radios are a penny.
Found these rather junky ones

Figured it would be good for children

My store still has the penny sockets, but I've yet to locate the tool for them, so haven't bothered with them yet

Based on a few of your posts here I think we shop the same stores. The NBR store had a box of sockets on the end cap and 3 of the wrenches still on the rack as of yesterday evening.

Check the ratchets and see if they have pennied out... I would assume if the sockets go, so would the ratchets.

Glad the other guy found one of those ladders! My store had numerous 300lb ones up in front, I looked in every bundle up high but no luck. Might try looking back of store and see what I can find there.

Yes, there are a couple Motorola radios that are very cheap or a penny... I think I bought mine for $10, but it was the last one so I can't complain.

They also are clearancing out fireplace grates. I got one for my fire pit for $5 a week or so ago.

I was thinking the same thing looking at that ladder, the blue vs red is the giveaway.

That's awesome! I just found three of the individual sockets at my store. I grabbed 'em just 'cause (I do have the GW set - I'm guessing these fit). My store NEVER allows pennies to stay on the floor so I HAD to buy them.

From a quick read, I'm pretty sure the Husky, Craftsman Max Axess, are both made by Crescent (and the handles look the same). I think Gearwrench is also the same. Might also be some old Kobalt... But now there are different generations of these things and they are not all interchangeable...

I've got continuous sizes from 10mm-17mm & 3/8"-3/4"... At least for 3 sets (for the 3 ratchets I have). I think I can make a few more sets but will not be as large as I don't have exact qtys of all sizes.

If anyone was only able to grab a ratchet and doesn't have a compatible pass-thru socket set already and wants a bunch of sockets to use, feel free to contact me via PM... I'll sell them cheap. ;)

The pivot thing is different too. The 300 lbs ladder, the pivot nub is royal blue, the 250 lbs ladder, the pivot is a dark grey. That is an easy tell if they are out of the package.
