Those pass through sockets do work with the Craftsman version. Just beware that these Husky sockets are inconsistent. I tested the fit in my C3 ratchet, and the extension, and a 13mm had to be forcibly removed. All the rest worked as they should, including another 13mm.

With that said, I still wish I could find a 15mm.

I think this is my first post as I'd registered in 2009 and forgot about this place. Wish I hadn't as some of the threads are awesome, inspiring, and motivating me to do more.

Had hoped to find one of the $30 ladders or the $106 welders, but haven't found any yet. I could really use a ladder.

Did find one Dewalt DW745 table saw for $229.00, and bought it as I needed a small highly portable one. The same saws have a different SKU and UPC and are $397!

Keep putting what you find in this thread. It's fun to hunt for bargains of stuff I can use.

Here is the UPC of the Dewalt. Note: It does not show up in the price check app in the store under Dewalt. If you type tablesaw, however, it shows up for me.

So I had a first today. I found a bunch of the pass through sockets that are stated to be a penny. I started ringing them up and some sizes were a penny but some still rang up at the .03 price point. I thought I was screwed because then the manager came over and wanted to help me.

He saw some were a penny and some were not. He didn't lower them to penny but he took 5 bucks off my total so when it was all said and done I got 12 sockets for 1.05. I wasn't gonna argue about that so I thanked him, took my loot and walked out.

He kept asking me though if anymore were on the shelf and I saw him send an employee to go look as I was collecting my stuff and leaving.

Anyone seen anything like this before?

that happens all the time, that's why you don't want to get caught and you want to get every one of that item at once.

I picked up a $230 item for a penny. Decent day.

Right I understand but I don't think they had a problem selling the stuff at a penny. The weird thing was only certain sizes of the sockets were ringing up a penny, the others still rang up .73 cents. I don't think he knew what to do about that so that's why he just gave a general discount.

Yea I do have the ratchet. Another store in the area has plenty of almost every size but they are still at .03 pricing. Weird.

Local HD had Dewalt DCF6201 Collated attachment for the 20V screwgun, normally $199 for $59. They had 3...

Mine had the same screw gun attachment, but I don't think its ever really been on sale for $199. The HD regular price is like $89. Dunno why they're labeled like that.

Is this your personal experience? I would have rejected your rebate too per their terms, if the purchase was done where you posted your location. If you don't have a Menards near you, then you won't qualify. I have read of people calling and getting it approved, but at that point you should know it will be a challenge.

Don't get me wrong, best of luck, and you are only out a stamp (or 2 depending on stack of receipts), but your experience is not like many others.

Crazy too, when I had a problem, I spoke with a good 'ole USA representative ( that might due to time of day calling).

There have been a half dozen threads on problems w the rebates from HD match. This one explains mine later in the thread
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=298050

Nowhere (did) it say stores in only certain states were eligible.. Perhaps the forms have changed, I did not look. Why not just change the terms on the rebate form? How hard would that be? Don't they have attorneys look over all promos, contests, etc??

Also if I just go to Menards.com it appears virtually everything is eligible for the 11% mail-in rebate with ship to home option.

IOW it doesn't matter WHERE I am, the rebate is nationwide on the web.

I grabbed the 3 bay (or 6 bay depending upon how you look at it) M12/M18 rapid charger today for $85.00.

I know 50% is so uncool to some here, but I was at a store hours away from home, my local store doesn't carry it, and I truly have use for it. Again I know I'm just off my rocker but I'm happy with 50% off. I'd be paying $169 at HD.com, CPO, etc

Hopefully you picked up all 3 to flip and get one for free!

Hard to flip when it's $77 on Amazon and $89 on HD website. Wonder how many people fall for their fake regular price. Didn't a company get in trouble for inflated "regular" pricing on discount tags?

2 people are asking $300 for those on ebay. :lol_hitti

Amazon is $190 and HD is $169, so you got a good deal if you are keeping it.

Psshaw, not even .06 pricing?

If people dont cross the street for .06, I wonder what they dont do for .00 pricing.

Some yellow clearance tags $89 for a regular price of $90 yet people buy it because 'it's on clearance' now. Think of those people who over pay on ebay or at auctions. They see the word sale or clearance and assume it's a good price when it may not be.

I stopped by one HD on a trip to a friend house. 20 minutes in the store, got a $230 regular priced item for a penny. I put up with some inclement weather too. :willy_nil

I think some people thought it was the drywall drill with attachment kit for $199. It's just the collated attachment for $59 its confusion because $199 seams reasonable for a kit.

Anything good?

A tool of some sort, because of the lurkers, that's as descriptive as I can get. It's a good tool though, not a POS. There were some other things but I was in a rush so I didn't hang around.

It doesn't use nails though.

I too found an item not a tool and not sure original price. I was looking for a .03 item but accidentally found a bf item (I am guessing bf). Did not even check comp, just took it right to sco and price check, bam! I don't care about lurker or not it is an amcrest pro/hd wifi camera.

They are decent but definitely not the best. For $0.25 per blade it was hard to pass up.

Took a little digging around but I found them at my local store. They were on one of the free standing displays near the lumber area where they sell the contractor packs of saw blades, drill bits, etc., on the back. I bought two packs.

I'll probably use these for cutting welds and anything that is too big for the portaband. I'm like you, for the price, you can't go wrong even if they don't last long. I figure if I buy a couple more packs I'll probably be set for cut off discs for the next 10 years the rate I go through them!

Had another "First" at HD.

Walked the store, looking for a few of the recent posted items.

Then I went to a terminal and checked the app for prices/inventory.

I found 5 clearance items on the floor. For example, two of the Milwaukee tops, marked down to $219.06 with yellow tags but in the system they were priced at 299.06.

Finding it odd that the system showed a higher price than the tags, I went back to note prices on other items and check the terminal again. Every item was tagged cheaper than the system showed.

That's a first for me in seeing that, almost bought some cheap sockets just to see if the POS matched the terminal or the tag. In years of doing this, I've never found a tag price below the app price. It is either correct or system price cheaper than the tag price.

Which store was this at? There's one around that had the M18 tower lights for 199 in one part of the store and 225 in another. Like a different time zone. I got a good laugh. Ever find the two 46" top boxes at 0117?

Wages drive. Not sure what happened at that store but it has been cleaned up and someone is on top of all clearance items. At the Buckhead store right now and it is in major disarray but didn't see any deals.

Edit: nope, never found the tops.
