Thats a good looking little bench/desk. Have you considered making your own bench?

Making a custom bench with hockey puck leveling feet is pretty easy.

I've considered it but would prefer to buy something like the Küpper... Preferably with drawers and an open space for a chair.

This is pretty simple stuff here, I would fab one for you but I'm not close. I'm sure somebody around where you are would be happy to make one for a reasonable price.

I found this beauty on the curbside trash durng citu wide cleanup. Perfectly noce metal desk with 4 drawers for free saved from rotting in a landfill. I realize nkt everyone is going to be that lucky but check craigslist, facebook and put up your own ISO (in search of) ads. Cant hurt to look and you maybe shocked what people want to get rid of.

Look at Lista or Vidmar. They make benches like that.

James

I agree. They are very well made and easily available in your areas.
Not sure on the price difference from the Kupper and the Lista, but I would say they close to the same.

Looks like an old classroom desk for the teacher. Drawers mounted for a left handed person. Nice find.

Thank you! I'll go check that out... I found a Lista like that too but it was over 1k.

Looking to spend under 1k. It's not going to be used for anything heavy either. I'd buy the Lista for heavy duty work.
