This just came in from Amazon. The finish could be better but for $111.55 I'm not complaining. aa7c94b879d626dcf4e6ab2180f9b16b.jpge99f3d4046f4f2e1e248ff3e8dc00a1e.jpg37e6955f44e7a75fe8fa6cf77884de24.jpg

I just purchased and received a set of the Lang 1434 however, unfortunately they were defective (they will not change from internal to external) and I am returning them. Where did you purchase yours and how much may I ask?

That is a shame sunex makes those wrenches in China. It must be for the chrome, the impact sockets are made in Taiwan.

Not all of their wrenches are made in China. The ones that I got today were made in Taiwan. The Sunex 9917MPR are made in China; still a nice set I'm sure.

Today I got a fresh pair of daily use gloves, and these handy dandy Dent-Fix fender gap gauges. Simplifies hanging fenders and doors. One side has magnets for steel panels and the other side has a suction cup for aluminium and plastic.

What did you pay for the Irwin pliers? The Lowe's near me is selling them for $42.99
$26 from Amazon. These are the 8"; the 9-1/2" are $40.

Amazon, $19. You can actually get them cheaper on ebay if you shop there.

122tsty. I haven't had a chance to use them yet. I have a couple jobs coming up where I may need them. I live in the salt belt so they will get used at some point. I have the bluepoint 3/8 set already

Thanks ptgarcia, I did purchase it from eBay it was $11 + $3 shipping however, as I said it was defective so it's on its way back. It's too bad because I really needed to use it this weekend!

One of the Home Depot's around me finally had the P717 Ryobi LED in stock. Pics don't really tell the story but there's is no comparison.

LED vs. original incandescent

For certain a good socket and no extension is a plus, that and big torque in reverse should zip them right out. The last V6 I did my IR would not even touch it.

What's he theory behind the socket? I get the extensio part...fewer joints=less friction and less 'misdirected' torque (small magnitude of the torque ends up going inward instead of spinning the bolt).

I have been severely slacking on my posts, but don't worry I never stopped buying tools. These came in the other day and I happened to think about taking a picture.
