hf new tool boxes.....black 44" new 56" and stainless boxes

almost the same price as the red 56" box on sale, though. Didn't have a black one in my store today. Hope this black 44 goes on sale for the price of the red 44". There will be alot of red 44inchers on craigslist!

Did you guys notice that the black/gold version is $420,the stainless version is $550,and the black/silver version is $600 ? Weird pricing

And they had black some years ago, same item number as the 2 we bought back then

Anyone else notice the different red 56" top and bottom now, they both have cabinets and the red is not glossy. It's like the older models

The glossy side locker and drawer additions are $20 cheaper now too

I'll guess all these new models are gonna be limited quantity, since they are all in store only. Might be a pilot program to see how they sell, or might just be something they got deals on and are just putting them out till they are gone..

If the glossy stuff gets replaced imma have to get a drawer addition just to have.. personally I'm not digging any of the new choices. I only wish they offered a 44" top cabinet with that hutch style lid for my cordless tools.. mine has a bunch just piled on top right now..

The black cabinets / chests look like the old stock photos and the old model where the handle was placed midway on the drawer facing.

I got excited for a black 44 and then I read what you wrote and it makes sense. I hope that they are actually releasing another color.

Why is the black with silver trim almost $200 more than the gold trim? I know the HF is notorious for listing them same products with different item numbers but this is just odd.

over the past few years, the red 44"ers have gone for $200-225, and they have been in new to very good condition. Demand seems to be very slow for then here in Oregon- I routinely cruise craigslist statewide.
