we scraped an old table saw at work a few years ago but we saved the base off of it. I want to say it looks like someone mounted the saw on an old treadle sewing machine base, but the stand has no wheel or foot platform, and both sides are symmetrical. I also want to say that it had "BD" stamped into each side if I remember right. I will try to get some pictures today If I get a chance.

That Burke machine base is really cool... I believe someone on ebay has one for sale at 350, and has already sold one !

I tried to buy an old stand off of Craigslist recently for my grinder. Someone outbid me that was going to make it into a fancy table. Annoying but it will make a cool table.
