I have been severely slacking on my posts, but don't worry I never stopped buying tools. These came in the other day and I happened to think about taking a picture.

IMG_0016_conv%20%2812%29.jpg

This is scary... we bought the same freaking tools...

Nut holder, skinny prybar, scissors (mine is different), toptul ratchet... among a dozen other tools I recently got... but what are the odds on both of us getting the nut holder, prybar and scissors.

Grey Pneumatic 1226M 3/8 metric set from Buzzard Gulch at the farm show in Louisville. These went fast at $39.95, ended up getting the display model.

I have the same set and really like it. I only ran into one issue, my 13mm shallow was actually another 12mm...

I haven't used it yet, but from testing it and reviews on amazon it seems like it is really nice and should be fine.

Let us know when you get some hours on it. I have a Ingersoll Rand 3101 Edge and I was wondering for my second grinder if it would be worth upgrading.

Picked this up today:

The EVA foam sold me. Think it turned out great! $30 was too good to pass up. (had to cut the torx off to fit the drawer)

I need new screwdrivers to replace my old Craftsman drivers and like what I read about Wiha so I bought one to try before investing in the entire lineup.

Doubt you'll be disappointed. I love my wiha.

If you ever have the chance to try PB Swiss... I would certainly recommend those.

I have those screwdrivers in the striking cap version. you will be very happy with them... It can start an addiction trust me I now have 50+ Wiha drivers. :lol_hitti

I have beat on the ph3 and 1/4 flat blades. The tips are tough a good compromise between hard and impact resistant. So far they still look new. They are similar to using a screw knocker / hand impact but for lighter duty. The key is in the Percision, the materials / heat treat, and handle all come together to make a really top notch product...

Looks like one of the most comprehensive torx and hex bit socket sets out there. Never fails most sets that try to cover every base always seem lacking in some way but this one really has it all. Post up a pic of how that case is laid out of you get a chance.

Tips are very nice I got a set of those back around christmas when lowes had those sets on sale. I had to cut the torx of mine too to get them to fit in the drawer. Very nice drivers used mine this past weekend.

Are those Craftsman ball and torx sets old? I've not seen them in any recent browsing over at sears.com.

Bob

I've had this grinder for a year now and it's the best grinder I've used. Well insulated, plenty of power, good trigger, and it's got a button lock so you only need one tool to change attachments. Used professionally. It's still just a die grinder so unless your tool isn't cutting it, probably no reason to upgrade.

Hi HCNDM,

I would say the PB is a little slower wearing but other than that any real difference would be personal preference. In terms of Phillips head fit and function i feel the PB is ever so slightly grippier.

It's a case of just slightly better on a few points which make the PB my overall favorite drivers. Close second to WIHA and Wera. The last for woodworking.

Not much science to back that up and PB is premium priced.

On the Phillips note... I am not a huge fan of Phillips. Lately I have been replacing Phillips when I come upon them with hex, torx, or pz screws and bolts. Depending on application and need.
