Just got a IR air ratchet, new clear gun and the GW SAE 1/2 deep socket set on the left in the picture. Also got some birthday cash so I will put it to good use.
How do you like those iwata spray guns? Never had a chance to use one yet but always heard good things.

We currently are using C.A. Technologies cpr guns at work and I'm not a huge fan.

I love the gun, its tried and true. Minimal tweaking to the way i normally spray with a sata and i was laying glass.

Vintage Craftsman "Nested Diamonds" vanadium series pliers duckbill & diagonal
New Craftsman USA bent diagonal
Midwest upright snips

How do you like bondus? I met their reps when they were in town for Wheatbelt a couple weeks ago. Seem like cool guys.

Looks like one of the most comprehensive torx and hex bit socket sets out there. Never fails most sets that try to cover every base always seem lacking in some way but this one really has it all. Post up a pic of how that case is laid out of you get a chance.

Only used them a bit trying them out but I like them a lot so far. The handles are comfortable. These have their 'Prohold tip' which I didn't know what that was. They have a little button that looks/feels like a bit of plastic stuck on the ball end. Had to try them out and it definitely does work as advertised and grabs onto the hex head.

Next I'll be ordering the 13pc SAE set to go with them. Only time will tell how they hold up.

I've got the same set from GearWrench, the most comprehensive one I could find without spending Snap On money. Time will tell on the quality

wonder whats a better kit....

the GW kit

or

Neiko 10083A and 10288A kits

I was looking at this kit or the VIM kit and obviously went with this one. They're both S2 tool steel. The one thing i'm wondering is how tight the fitment is between the socket and the bit. I've had my SK bits pull right out of the socket, but my mac and craftsman haven't, go figure.

Just got these in from Ultimate Garage, they are pretty damn cool. My favorite so far is the one with the pivot tip jaw, it grabs like nothing else I own.

Thanks for posting / replying with this. I hadn't seen this set before you posted it and even though I have the Mac hex and torx sets I'm always talking tools with coworkers. I'll save this pic and the next time one our oil techs is looking for a comprehensive set like this I can show him a "real" pic of this offering from GW.

Sorry, they were a great price, so I jumped. Now I wish I had ordered 5 pairs of the pivot style. Will have to wait for another deal.

I'm assuming this is the Husky wrench organizer pictured for your stubbies. Realizing that you've had them only for a short time, how do you like these?

13-3/4 in. 10-Compartment Magnetic Locking Wrench Holder
http://www.homedepot.com/p/13-3-4-in-10-Compartment-Magnetic-Locking-Wrench-Holder-LAW10HD/204766587
$7.48 /each

I love these organizers was a gamble when i got them but once installed and in use they are fantastic. Holds the wrenches well. Will not fall out till you turn them. Definetly worth the money for half price think they were $7.30 each 50% off.:D

You're welcome. Bought online for $110. It's a nice set and should be easy to warranty locally. I Bought it over the vim simply for the long drivers. I've been wanting hex ball sockets for a while now.

Is that the KDT-80742 kit? What is the country of origin on that kit? I've asked so many sellers and no one will reply. Not that it's a huge deal, but I'd like to know before I pull the trigger.

I believe those look to be branded Proto. Is facom the oem?

Yes, Proto rebrands them. They definitely seem like they will be a great addition to my collection. The mechanism allows them to spread wide open quickly, then adjust them with the thumb wheel for fine tuning. I am going to need some time to get used to them, unfortunately right now I am not doing anything that requires using them a lot. I do feel that if I was to recommend one pair, it would be the pivot jaw ones (Proto J506A), they grip really well and because of the pivot the jaws stay parallel and it has much more grip force. The other ones would be better suited to round or odd shaped objects. I should start a thread to display what I like and don't like about all my various "vice grips".

Proto J506A pliers

Ultimate Garage was where I bought them, but Zoro.com may sell them as well.

I have nowhere near the collection of some guys on here, but I love these ratcheting screwdrivers and this was an eBay deal: .....
I like them too.

I used a set like this a lot when working on proto-type vehicles. You never knew what fastener would be used.

I am slowly replacing my hard black handled screwdrivers, with the orange ones. They're easier to find.

Thank You! They must be advertising with pictures of the Taiwan version. I notice in the pictures online there are 1/4" socket bits, but it looks like your kit just has the 1/4" bits without the sockets.
No, the 1/4 type in the back row standing vertically are sockets, if that's what you mean.
