Promo Code is "FRIDAYP".
Make sure to always browse through their flyers first. Sale prices are via the links in there and can knock quite a bit off.
Thanks for the heads up Paul. Getting some stuff I can use in school (Machining).
Thanks. I was having good luck with the Irwin bi-metals in my 7x12 but I swear the last couple 10-14's I've used have just not lasted very long under normal use. The Irwins are not sale in any of the sale flyers from what I can see, but maybe that's good.
The Starrett bi-metals are considerably more expensive but if they last longer they're worth it. I'll give them a try. I do have a Starrett blade in my little 5x6" and it's working very well, with no coolant even.
I used to use Irwin blades in my 4x6. I have a 7x12 now & I've been using Lenox blades in various pitches with great results. I get them from MSC when they go on sale.
Yeah it's just rare to see the Lenox listed in the 93" blades (on sale at least)
I need some bandsaw blades.
The current Metalworking flyer has Lenox blades on pg 34 but only in a couple of pitches & they are the RX+ style. Not sure what pitches you need. You mentioned 10-14 for Irwin earlier, those are also on pg 34.
I use the Lenox Classic M42 bi-metal blades. I have them in 5-8, 8-12, & 10-14. Ever since the closing of Enco & merging account with MSC, my logged in price on the Lenox blades are always $36 regardless of a sale. Same with the Irwins, always $26.
