Not the craziest deal I've seen, but Hitachi nails and staples are 30% off in WA. Also a little jug of hanger nails for just over a buck. Kind of rare to see the items they usually have no problem selling at such a deep discount.

Picked up their 24V max kobalt circular saw for 79$, they had a cordless hitachi for 69$ too.
Their 24V impact 1/2" kobalt is now 199 w/battery and charger (thinking of picking up).

Seems like they're dropping the price on this line up, don't necessarily think it's a good sign.

I found a good deal on some U-bolts and 3/8" Turnbuckles at my local Lowes, price doesn't show online, but marked down to .47 from 4.96. Grabbed a few figuring they might come in handy for gate repairs or other odd projects around the garage.

What brand is the wire, and in what region are you? Those item numbers are not even available in this area, commodities like wire seem to be regional brands and numbers.

Great for adding grounds in old houses and running in conduit, BTW.

The bulk wire really varies from store to store... Just go and check, it will be labeled by the big indexer for the wire... Sheesh... It's not often they clear out old wire, but it does happen like every other product in the store...

When it was first out on clearance I bought bulk wire from 4 different stores, they all pretty much dropped different gages & colours but at the same time. This was months ago, I know one of those stores still thinks they have some of the stranded in inventory but it's gone. I bought only solid, figure if it's the same price may as well get the best of it.

If you need some I have quite a lot. Depending where you are and what you need, how much you want to pay for shipping etc. PM me.

Dallas area for me. 3 months ago I ran across a store that was redoing/removing the bulk wire section and I picked up the rest of their 12g romex for 10 cents a foot. They have since moved to prepackaged rolls.

I forgot to snap a pic, but 1-1/4" roofing nails (from another thread) were $5.53 a 50-lb box, item 461469. I bought 8 boxes and added some filler and used a $15 off $50 for a total of $3.89 per box!

Seems like it is more the stores in the Southern part of the country, I'm in Pennsylvania and have not seen these sales.

Yesterday they were clearancing electrical fittings at my local store, lots of different ones. Not sure why - the ones on the regular shelves seemed to be the same ones, at full price. Maybe just some odd sizes or something.

I'm not a big expert on the Lowes things, (close outs)
But IME, it's a store to store deal, You probably have to go to your store to find it.
Although, they had these spotlights for like a dollar sixty, box Of 10, and it DID show on the website at the sale, (close-0ut price) But yes, I think its a YMMV type Of deal. AAMOF, my Lowes very seldom has the close out price.
I'm not lucky enough to get the rest of a bulk roll of romex,# 12, for 11 cents a foot or what ever.....LOL
To be honest, I've had better luck with close outs at Home Depot.
