So looking on Craigslist I came across this Walker Turner for sell. Seller is asking g $200 for it. So my question is what's it really worth or is that a good price. I've been wanting to restore one of these but could never find one in my area till now. Don't have any other pictures or information on it other then it runs good (so says the seller). So what do you guys think or advice?

No idea where "all over" is, but around here that's about a $75. drill press.

Sorry should have been more clear on my location. All over I mean South Carolina. But I've noticed people down here want a top dollar for stuff.. Man wish I could find one for $75.. thanks a ton 454ragtop

With that cool 4-knob handle, $75 would be a fair price. But I will never buy another W-T again (too many obsolete parts), I'd look for a Delta...

I agree, that's too much. Its has no slow speed attachment, no belt guard, original switch replaced with a light switch. On the plus side, the table looks pretty good and its in overall nice shape. It appears to have the original motor. I'd say $100 - 125 range.

I restored mine about 4+ years ago. They are nice machines.

Man that's beautiful! Nice DP buddy. I love the way they look when restored..

I did see the switch and cover missing and changed. I did see a cover on eBay. But after what you all have said you can find them for I think I'll just pass..

Well, maybe you can get him to come down a bit. If no buyers in a couple weeks, he may be more likely to come down a bit. Just a teaser, but here's another view of mine before I added the belt guard. You can see what the original switch looks like.

He says price is firm but I haven't reached out to the owner yet. Figured I'd ask you all first before I accidentally low ball the guy and look like a Jack A$$...

So parts are hard to find and they range from $75-100+. I am assuming that finding an original switch is next to impossible?

Belt guards and switche boxes are scarce. Belt guards were options. Mine is a repro and took some work to fit to the DP. It was not cheap either. Its not necessary, but makes it safer and looks nice.

What model is yours? The one I am looking at looks slightly different then yours. The one for sell has a hole next to the switch box where yours does not..

I don't see an extra hole. But they are both WT900s. There are slight variations over the years, but not much. There is a date code on the tag. Its what is stamped in the serial number box on the tag. If you get the number, you can determine when it was built. Mine is from 1951.

I have a Walker-Turner drill press that belonged to my grandfather. According to the dating link above, it's a Type 0, it has an orange tag, no serial number. Apparently pre-1939. It has the original motor, switch and cast-iron belt guard, everything else is original as well. Only thing I have done is clean and repaint a couple of smaller parts. I don't know what it would be worth in the used market, but you'd have to pony up many, many $Benjamins in order to get it from me, purely for sentimental reasons. Having said that, it's probably worth $400-$500 to an average buyer.

I'd say the one in the OP's photo is worth a couple hundred, especially in good running condition. Looks like it's not lacking anything important.

Looking on eBay at other Walker's people are selling them anywhere from $200-500+. Spare parts are very high as well...

What looked like an opening to the right of the power switch I guess is a brown block or something. Can't make it out. But it looks like an opening cause it's the same color as the wall.... I emailed the guy and no response. I asked what model it was..

I think that is a block of wood attached to the DP using the original switch box holes. Then the makeshift switch box is attached to the block. Ask if he still has the original switch. Even if it's broken, it may be useful or repairable. It might be worth going to look at it. Sellers are more likely to deal in person when cash is at hand.

Looking at the picture again I think you are definitely correct about it being a wood block.. well I sent another email to the owner hopefully he'll respond..

A four speed, bench top DP would be worthless to me. But if those are your preferences then go for it but I think that price is pretty high.

Prices vary by location. Post your location and you'll get better feedback on price.
