I have seen a few sets here and there around at the big box stores, no singles of anything....but this is the first place i have seen that carries just about the whole line .. And of course i was drawn to the display like a bug to a porch light..and had to be dragged out by the Wife.....lol A Family Farm and Home store...Its alot like a Tractor Supply, or Rural King.. I hope TEKTON finds retail space like this in more stores.. Quality is kinda Gearwrench..ish.. but a little cheaper...

There's a Family Farm & Home about half an hour south of me. They have a better selection of Tekton than most other places I've been. I've started buying Tekton stuff and find that I especially like their pliers. Deep impact sockets are pretty good, too.

Our local Meijers has that same set-up in it. I'm waiting for the next time they offer Buy 1 Get 1 half off. There is a couple of things I need.

TS and HD can order Tekton but don't have much in stock. I was looking to get a couple of sockets. I am jealous. There seem to be a lot of better chains in the Midwest. We only got a TS a few years ago here in Jersey.. Not surprising that they are Gearwrench- ish. They are both Taiwan-ish. lol!! HD, Lowes, HF and TS and that is IT. Actually that is not quite true. We have an auto tool guy that has SK and and a Sun and a lot of other stuff but to get the prices that approach the on line prices you have to join his "club" for $12 a year or $60 lifetime. I just order on line.

X2....on the pliers...some of them are USA too... We have some of the impacts over at our trailer shop... they hold up as good as any..

Surplus Center in Grand Forks, ND has a rather large display of TEKTON tools.
I have bought some impact sockets and other odds and ends at various visits. It is not My regular go-to place for budget tools; but they had what I needed more than once.

I really like their long handle 6 point flex head ratcheting wrenches and offset handle composite ratchets. Both see a lot of use and they have held up well. I could drop 400 bucks rather quick on a display like that.

Tekton display rack >I like their trash can décor best:lol:
some of the tools and packaging looks exactly like Harbor Freight not GW so much. I DO like the fact you can buy individual sockets and wrenches in that store.

Their composite, and roto ratchets are exactly the same ones HF sells..Unfortunately i think it's all starting to blend together....I was in an Advance Auto the other day...sad to see how far GW has fallen...Their XP120 rats are pretty nice...but the rest of the GW stuff is HF quality...

I don't have many tekton tools but I did buy a magnetic retrieval tool of theirs. One that telescopes out. It ended up breaking when I pulled it out for the first time. Wasn't really worth my time to take it back to the store since it was only a couple bucks. So I fired off an email to them to let them know I wasn't really happy that their tool broke before I even got to use it. They emailed right back saying they were sorry and will send out a new one right away. So customer service is very good and the new magnet worked as it should.
