Martin flare nut wrenches 15/16" - 1 1/2". Got 2 sets, one for the service truck and one for the shop box. Work awesome for hydraulic lines and hoses. Especially in tight areas. Got them from my Matco guy.

I like those Martins, I have been looking at them for a while, but I haven't been doing enough hydraulic stuff to justify them yet. I am just itching for a reason to buy them.

I ordered this on eBay the other day and it arrived today...Basically useless but I wanted to fill the set out :wtf:

Out shopping today with the wife and we had to stop at Menard's. This Flexzilla hose and reel setup was on clearance for $49.00. Looking forward to trying it out after all of the positive feedback on here.

Needed these for rewiring an oven and it should make stripping the 8 gauge wire a piece of cake.

Saw mrpete222 using one of these in YouTube and it was so cute that I just had to buy one:

I do make a lot of smaller items so the size is convenient.

Sockets on sale for this month. Picked up a set of 3/8" metric semi deeps, traded my old 1/4" deep/shallow metric for new set. Also picked up this bogo. 1/2" drive, 10-24mm and 1/2-1 1/2". Deal was too good to pass up.

After much debate and hem and haw I settled on the Snap-On Cable hose clamp pliers to replace my broken A.P.'s

Have not used them yet but I have two jobs with radiators going back in them this week and next week.

So many great deals on there! Those .045" cutoff wheels were $24 for 25.. What ***** is before I bought those sets I paid about $3/ea at Lowes the other week. More clamps came back in stock so I've got 4 more 36" and 2 24" on the way!

They are pretty nice. But they are definitely pricey. I'd bought a few sizes awhile back. But after using those then finding a few other spots where other sizes would've been ideal I just told him to get me more. Great hold. Good length. I really like them. Figure I might get at least 5/8"-7/8" for at least the shop so I have basically a full set.

The working end is 1/16" thicker that the previous Mayhew models. I found a spot in my engine compartment where that 1/16" felt like a super fat Walmart shopper. The tunnel in the firewall where the two heater hoseS go through. By themselves would not be so bad, but the A/C line that goes to the evaporator is right above those two hoses. The older model May 28640 and 28650 would squeeze in there, but not the new model 28680.

Well, I Finally picked one of these up. It came in the mail yesterday; has Williams, bluepoint, Proto, SK, and craftsman, ALLEN, and crescent tools in it.
This is a surplus Aviation tool kit. Anyone have an idea on when this kit would have been used?

Yep, I was naughty again. :bounce:

These are on sale until the end of the month and my local warehouse finally got a couple sets in. Going to try these in the hobby shop as I have the SO double box end metric wrenches at work and they are quite bad ***.

Do they make a metric set?

Picked up just a couple things from the clearance bins at Northern Tool. The Tekton long nose pliers were $2.99 a piece and look pretty decent.

Another example of this thread costing me money. SuzukiGS750EZ's post a few weeks back got me seriously looking at the GearWrench 84 pc Master Torx & Hex set, and when I found it currently combined with the 36 pc torx set in a BOGO at NTXTools I jumped.

2vblttk.jpg

I initially assumed the 36pc set was all duplicates and I figured I'd probably just sell it, and for the most part it is, but there are a couple bits the 36pc set has that the 84 pc didn't, so I'm keeping them at least.

It's too bad Irwin got ahold of those Marples Blue Chip's. I have a set of older Blue Chip's that were made in England and they a damn nice for the price I paid.
