I could sure use a few of these for the new shop. There appears to be plenty in stock in my area but haven't found a store that has them on clearance.

I apologize if this has already been answered, but how often does the MET team come through? I would assume that deals are more likely to be found right before they go through the store.

The "original" price isn't really $29 but $19. These are the same toolboxes that were at Costco.

$10 for a pair of gloves no wonder they're on clearance. Some of HD prices just too high normally

Question for the pros here: when the PCA indicates a quantity of 1, how confident are you that it is somewhere in the store?
Maybe it depends how big/small the item is? i.e., if it is small, someone could have shoplifted it?
But when it is a large item, how confident would you be that there is one left in the store? Today the PCA told me that the 20G Husky compressor and the Bosch miter saw are both in stock (both QTY = 1). Of course, I can't find them. How hard should I be looking if they aren't in the obvious places? Or should I be assuming that if they are not in the obvious places that they not actually in stock?

Unless it was a bar of gold, I wouldn't even waste more than 5 minutes looking for a 1 inventory, it almost certainly doesn't exist.
Does your lack of faith in the PCA mean that you also will search for items that show QTY = 0?
Dang, I wasted a lot more than 5 minutes today

Guess you've never seen a negative stock count? It's rare, but I've seen up to -3 before. I usually don't chase down 0 stock items though.
SKU? Price?I got what i think is a good deal. 3/4" x 5" wide prefinished oak flooring for a little over$2/sq ft
I redid my entire upstairs this weekend.
Urbandale ,IA.
My night MET forcibly zeroes everything they *think* they've pulled. They also zero confusing items like the Milwaukee boxes which are identical product but differing UPCs.
To me zero is no different than any other number - might be none, might be 5 sitting around somewhere.
He's just throwing everyone off the scent so he can buy more.Dang, I wasted a lot more than 5 minutes today

With so many products you can't expect them to have 100% accuracy and proper location of every last item.
I have watched the negative change when I buy stuff. Also could not find 29 holesaws.Guess you've never seen a negative stock count? It's rare, but I've seen up to -3 before. I usually don't chase down 0 stock items though.
Not with a night crew that just puts it up and don't care where. The manager at my favorite store thought I worked at home depot. I was on computer looking at taps and he was not concerned about missing two of them.yes, you can, at least for location. i understand that there is some shrinkage, but the system should be able to tell you where anything is. if it can't, someone isn't doing their job right, or it isn't considered important.
imagine how much more money they could make if they just stopped screwing around. . . . . .
