Well guys, im new to the forum. I found it because of the HAMB, Ive been lurking on here for a few weeks checking out projects and i joined because i think there is a lot of great knowledge. While my current "garage" isnt a garage at all. We have been looking at houses to purchase(currently renting) and building a garage is going to be my first priority (because tucson homes that have garages are normally in a HOA...no thanks, i like my noise and cool **** very much thank you)

I used to have a local shop, but that didnt work out, so untill i save up enough cash to start a new one, or we find a house, this will do. (rather buy a house right now so i can get obamas 8k)

enjoy

first up i have to show off my new baby. matco 4s, 1 year old, blank warranty card. with new locks/liners and a wood top(still waiting on that) for 2k, not to shabby

Nice stuff, so do you sleep outside with a shotgun in hand or is that dog a lot bigger than he looks in the picture?

haha yeah i need a garage bad. Im working on it. and stuff doesnt get lifted because the dog. all points of entery are locked, then chained and locked again. all the machines get chained together at night. the box gets locked.

and then the signs posted that say trespassers will be shot helps too im sure. Trust me i worry about it all the time. But ive got a 12g at the front door, a .38 snub nose in the kitchen, and a .45 in the bedroom. The only downfall to that is, in the state of arizona it doesnt matter if they are just on your property they have to be in your house to put them down.

i just hope no one tries anything and pay my insurance bill.

With all those projects you don't have time to work! LOL. Looks like you have a notch cut in the truck chassis and are into the lowered thing - cool!

Recommend you check the laundrey basket for scorpions before bringing inside!

Hope you stick around and post some pics as you complete the truck.

:)

i have actually never had a scorpion problem. the only animal problems weve had is we had a black bear in our grapefruit tree one time and a golden eagle ate my cat. Other than that we havent had any problems. Im rather centrally located in Tucson. But ill make sure to check it.

the truck was finished when i was 17(im 21 now) But i got my *** chewed out on the HAMB for poor design work, and i took their advice, cut it into peices, and rebuilt it. The cab is at my house and the chassis is at a freinds(the one who has my tig/plasma)

heres pictures of the truck from like a year or 2 ago

The sad part is I have a 2&1/2 car garage and so much **** the only vehicles in it at the mpoment are the 98 Blazer and the Pit scooter unless you count the outboard for the Boat I am also restoring in the driveway LOL.

hey trust me. i know all about the lack of garage space. but for right now, i pay 475 a month for a 1400sqft 2 bed 1 bath, duplex, with 4 parking spots up front, and a pretty big back yard. So it works, untill i buy a house, or start another shop up. I love my overhead(split between me and the gf) Keeps the profit high. Which is good when you have a bad tool habit.

Man I couldn't sleep at night and I'd be bald (more bald) with that many tools outside. Nice projects though

locks and guns.... locks and guns.....

all machines are chained and locked, the toolbox is chained to the house, and locked. so if someone wants to walk off with something, they are gonna have to make some noise trying, thus alerting my 12 gauge
