I have purchased more than a few items from HJE. Never a problem.

I would believe them if they say it's USA made, I'm sure it will be.

They're good folks there

Not to take anything away from Epstein's but, if you're looking for open stock US made wrenches, check Cripe Distributing either on ebay or at their website.

If the flag shows USA that is what you will get.
If they send you something by mistake, they will make good ASAP.

Be sure (if using a phone) to ask for all USA wrenches.

This is one top notch company that you are dealing with.:rocker:

I use Cripe frequently however they don't stock Wright tools which is what draws me to HE

Every time I look at Epstein's. The shipping seems a bit high.

Me too. For that reason alone I've never ordered anything from them unfortunately.

As for the wrenches in the open stock from hje, are these Wrightgrip, regular or the V notch styled wrenches?

I'm pretty sure they aren't wrightgrips, possibly the older wright v notch style.

eta- I bought a full polish wrightgrip 1/4 and 5/16 from HE to complete my SAE set and the shipping was cheap, obviously they're small wrenches so maybe that's why I didn't have any issues with the cost of shipping.

Still really good wrenches. Its been said that the V style wrenches are prone to cracking because it is not as strong as the U shaped design, but I have a full set of Wright and multiple sets of Mac V shaped open ends, some purchased used, that have never cracked or spread on me. While it makes sense and could happen, I don't think that's a reason to shy away from that style.
