Aren't all zip ties qualified for this?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There's some special requirement thing but I forget what it is. Like the cop ties have to have the metal insert in the ratchet mechanism or something. Not all wire ties have a small piece of metal in the female part that engages the teeth on the strap. Maybe that's it but I'm not sure.

Gone are the good ole days when the cops put a pair of Smith and Wesson handcuffs on you and put you in the back of a real paddy wagon. Ah, the memories.

I have wanted a decent borescope for some time. I could not justify the major expense though. Snap-On had this one for a great deal. I could not pass it up.

What was the deal if you dont mind me asking k-dog?
Been looking at them myself, boss bought an autel, crappy image but I can use it on my laptop. Any saving/transfering with that one?

I assumed that. However, after comparing the different zip ties, the LE zip ties have extruded ribs on each edge and they seem more robust.
And where ya from in Indiana?
Evansville

Flight:

I thought most LE use this kind of zip tie...
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005A2XB9A/?tag=atomicindus08-20

The LE zip ties sold by Amazon look like a big improvement to the ones I got.

I think it was like $250.00 or there abouts.
You can save up to 40 (?) images, but save only. There is no export. A simply SD card would have been so easy. :dunno:

Yesterday I was sorting through a few boxes of electrical misc. that I won at an auction. A couple of work lamps, connectors, cords and some other supplies. I came across a bag of zip toes (first picture). :)
To my surprise, I saw that those zip ties were restraints that cops use (second picture). :headscrat

When I was on the job I used these a few times. I liked the ones that were pre made as double loops as opposed to this style. Somewhere I have a pair of the special cutters they had branded for them. We just used a big pair of dikes lol.

I'm digging the Aircat 802R so far, seems like a great deal under $60.

Image any good? The autel is like .5 megapixels, I had a better quality photo on my cell phone in 1999 lol. Really **** image even on my laptop screen. I could tell there was something on or in the piston, it had a shadow.

I am not going to say it is great, but I can easily say it is not bad. It is all subjective ya know...
Let me put it this way, it is WORLDS better than the Whisler I got from Costco a few years ago.

Freak,
Will that Snap On funnel set fit my 2009 Crown Vic? I can not find a cheap funnel that works and everytime I add oil to the thing I spill a bunch. Never thought it would come to this but I am ready.

Nothing shocking or suckage,
But got the flip socket off the bay, about $8.00 shipped. (need to get a short extension)
Off brand, hopefully she will hold up. It's thin wall for after market wheels.
The needle nose, not sure if name brand, Total cost $1.00 @ the flea market this past fall, just cleaned it up.

Anyone know of a set like this from another manufacture? Would be handy but not worth it to me at snap=on prices.

So much awesomeness[emoji106] How do you like it?
I'm actually kicking myself now for not getting one a long time ago. Faster then my verdict and not as temperamental. Very powerful tool. I also got to keep my m2 meter as part of the deal.

Where did you get the pouch for your air hammer bits?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/361443513649
For the air hammer pouch

If you search on google for threaded oil funnel kit you will get a couple different ones. There is one on Amazon for 50. This one was 119 from snap on.

Assenmacher makes it. Not sure if they have a set for third party suppliers yet though.

Lisle has a kit also 19342, its just not as high quality.

Picked up a set of twist sockets which I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were made in USA. I also scored a brand new FHLF80A on EBay which I immediate put to use!

That Craftsman set is a lifesaver...I've had to use mine more than I care to admit.
