I used a google spreadsheet for a while, but the guy wasn't always keeping up when they expired, and you couldn't copy/paste them, and they auto-refreshed once a minute, it was just a pain to use. Likewise every excel sheet / formula I found was using random digits for the 15th digit so you had to try numerous ones before finding the one that worked, and hoping that it wasn't already used.

This file I made generates a valid code every time, assuming it isn't already used, and refresh is as easy as pressing F9. You can also directly copy/paste the code.

Just trying to help some people out, nobody is forcing you to use it. [emoji38]
You made and posted a way for people to use Lowes coupon codes that is against store policy. Lowes has also been aggressively fighting websites that posts these the past year.

I'm guessing Ryan will love it when Lowes contacts him about his forum hosting codes against their policy.

Is the 314pc cobalt tools @89 good deal? I saw too many bit fillers in the box

Sent from my LON-L29 using Tapatalk

My store had 6 of them on Friday and I took a look, I didn't think it was worth the $89 for me. Lots of filler items and the case is huge with lots of empty space wasted between sockets. Plus they skip a few of the sizes I use (18mm) and I the wrenches are open end ones. It would be fine for a household box, but just didn't thrill me so I left without it.

Got an email that I can get 11 percent mail in rebate valid for purchase between 4/6 and 4/12... I'm thinking it's a Midwest thing given the list of stores... it says I can mail it in, which I printed the form off to mail.. does anyone know is this for one purchase only or all my purchases between those dates?

The rebate wording is not quite clear on the eligibility of lowes.com purchases. The wording seems to imply that your lowes.com purchase is eligible if you are located in a certain area, but then does not specify how that area is determined. I could guess that they want to restrict eligibility to residents of certain states, but the rebate does not specify that.

In short, I wonder if all purchases on lowes.com will be eligible for the 11% rebate, regardless of where you are located.

Note that the legal wizards at Lowes could have easily made that distinction on the rebate form, but did not. I wonder if this wording was purposely left out for some legal reason, i.e., they could not legally restrict the rebate for purchases on lowes.com to residents of certain states or something? Just a guess.

Anyway, no harm in making a purchase on lowes.com and submitting the rebate, no matter where you live.

So here's the discount breakdown available right now:
3% - 5% cashback referral site
5% discovercard cashback promo
11% lowes.com rebate (maybe)
10% or 30% (15 off 50) lowes coupon

Here's a direct link to the rebate:

I picked up one today. The sticker still had $119 down to $89.40

I got one same way last week. There is still one on a shelf at a store that isn't showing on their inventory. I'll be in that town for Easter this coming weekend. I hope it drops more by then and is still there.

Does anybody have any heads up on coupons that work for walking in? I may try to figure something out with that 11% thing.

there is a second page there for participating locations. Rebate is to compete with Menards like Home Depot is doing with a similar rebate. Looks like Lowes.com would work if you are close to one of those listed stores. They fine print it with "see associate for details"

Don't see why you couldn't send it if you are far from one of those listed stores, but I wouldn't expect anything back.

It's no longer listed online because it has been discontinued. They replaced the 10 lb bags with 18 lb bags.
If you live in lake Jackson, TX or Ridgeland, MS they are going for $.63 each bag both places are saying about 50plus bags.

they have some strange stuff in cowboy. Pieces of plywood, rocks, raw wood, etc. It's not the best stuff, most use Royal. Royal also makes the lump for big green egg, target and some others.

http://www.nakedwhiz.com/lumpdatabase/lumpbag6.htm

I read the naked whiz reviews about the strange findings in the Cowboy lump charcoal. But recent reviews of the newer stuff sold at Lowes ("Southern blend", not the regular stuff) are very good. Some reviewers state that it is better than Royal. For a buck a bag, I'd certainly give it a try.

For anyone that can find the Cowboy stuff, here is a link for $1 off coupons...maybe your bag can be free:

FWIW.. i called Lowe's rebate center this afternoon to clarify some things on this 11% rebate, considering this one was done different than their normal 11 off to compete with menards.

i asked if only 1 purchase was eligible or all purchases between the specified dates (multiple receipts) i'm guessing this is kinda new to them as well because she had to ask her manager. she told me that ALL receipts between the eligibility dates were good to go.

here's the kicker, and pay attention, she did warn me to submit the rebates ONLINE if i had MULTIPLE receipts. she said i could stick them all in one envelope and mail them with the form, but she said she has seen before where a receipt was missed or only 1 was counted towards a rebate. so she said either mail them all separately, or simple submit them online (which is what i did, very simple.)

KEEP IN MIND: when you submit them online, it will ask for invoice number, store number, etc.. which is all on your receipt. it will ask for a DEPARTMENT number, the correct number to use is the number on the rebate form which is 105074 that is the "rebate department" as she told me, and the dept. you want to use for submitting the rebate.

if any of you had questions or were as simple minded as i am about this, hopefully this helped, enjoy your easter weekend!

Has anyone tried to submit an online purchase for this rebate?

2 of my 3 purchases were online - in store pickup's... make sure you ask for the receipt when you pick up (our local lowe's doesn't give you one since it's in the system). as far as online - shipped to home i have not tried it. but if you get a receipt you might as well try.

I gave it a shot for an online purchase for in store pickup. I post how it turned out.

Lol. I think I paid like $100 for that when they were clearancing them out before. Have yet to even open mine. That kind of thing seems odd for Lowes to sell.

Ours never clearanced it out last time like every one else did. They replaced it with what looks to be the same thing just newer model. I don't really need it but thought it would be handy to have around

I think I have used mine more to free up stuck rims and rotors than anything else. That it does very well.

I did get an email today that said allow 3 weeks for processing. I had really hoped to use it on one of those 314pc tool sets this weekend.
