The first two are woodworking vises that appear to be from about 1900 or thereabouts. The third with the double ended handle appears to be a Sheldon. If they are in working order, they should all be excellent user vises.
Woodworking vises seem to have a thinner market than machinists vises but the early ones are at the top end of the food chain. They look really nice when they are cleaned up.
Like Drives said, what info are you looking for?
I see one or 2 woodworking vises with no marks, is that the question?
Your Prentiss is great!
The Wilton end caps are reproduced and available if you are willing to pay. If you are looking for a very economical alternative, you can do what I have done and that is to take the vise to your local auto parts store and get a close fitting freeze plug. Pay 1-2 bucks and you have an end cap. Flat instead of domed, but hey...for $1.00 or so maybe that is better than nothing at all.
Some members have even hammered out the freeze plug making it slightly domed.
Jimreed has given you the news about market value if you we're thinking of selling. Pipe vises are also in that "can't get no respect" category.
Thanks

I've only been on the forum a week and am not familiar with all the threads. I want to thank you all for the info, I like the freeze plug idea for the Wilton. Thanks for the lead on the Sheldon I finally did find one with the same handle configuration.

I have an old prentiss vise and the acorn or what ever it is called for the anvil in back is missing. Does anyone know where to locate a replacement?
