It is mostly SAE and I am mostly metric. I will say that there is a lot to be had in the lot, including a Huot roll cab and likely 1000 individual hand tools, prolly 70-75% USA. The Huot cab is stuffed to the gills with USA tools mostly from the 60s. There is quite a collection of Proto in there a well.

There is a nice roller bearing cabinet full of Zerks and SAE hardware as well.

The air compressor, and some of the more recent purchases are ChiCom.

Lastly, the seller has been sitting on the collection for a long time and is very motivated and very negotiable.

I believe that more than a few GJ members would say that no single tool box ever made will hold ALL of their tools.

I agree that the Reed is a screaming deal if it is not damaged. I really hate to see vises sitting out in the weeds. Personally, for a vise like that, if I had assurances that it wasn't broken or welded up, I would drive 2 hours each way for that price. It would sell for triple that here. Don't fail to plan for proper lifting and transport of a vise that weighs about 175 pounds! I always remove the dynamic before lifting the main body. Take off the swivel base too if it's not too stuck.

Gotta check your C/L more often if you want those killer deals. Stuff goes in minutes around here. Not too often that Parker vises go for $0.00

Let's make that "go over and buy that drill press for full price if necessary" With the slow speed pulley it would sell for more out here for sure. I paid almost that much for a similar one with no extra pulley. Mine was over 200 miles away.
