Just installed it today----BTW, today is the coldest, rainiest day we've had for a while! :S Luckily, we got it done before the rain came in. In hindsight, I might have added a narrow blue or red slightly inset border, but I still prefer this 'clean' look most of the time. The edge of a sign creates it's own 'border'.

What's the "Chicago 2-coat " technique?

Letter the first 3 letters, go back and 2nd coat the first letter, paint the 4th letter, re-coat the second, etc. till done. It just gives the first coat enough time to set up enough to take a second coat right away and bonds well with it. If you wait much longer, you should really let it dry, but then scuff sand before next coat-----this saves you all that time and extra effort.
