Hi folks,

want to ask, would someone here start a tool franchise with following options:

1: First you give us your money, than you can see the contract!
2: Only our own 300% more expensive buisness consultant is allowed!
3: You must pay the truck interior/furniture...but first you must pay for it until you see what you've bought!
4: Your profit margin is low and you must buy all tools! If you want your tools as an commission, you must invest 5000 Euro and your profit margin will decrease to "lower"
5: We decide which truck you get!
6: We promise to give you 200 trusted customers to start...but otherwise we say, "We don't know if they will buy our tools again!".
7: We'll push you every day to sign our contract...without a prior check/look or copy.

So...I don't tell you the name of this company...(forbidden)...want just your responses.

Re: ****-Off franchise

I ask, because we had a lot of franchise topics in the past.

so, for $5000, other than the contract, do you get a certificate of Nigeria Crown Prince, too?

If you don't understand how a contract works, ask a local lawyer, not us. ;)

***** the way you present it, but you don't give any real information that would show if it has any merit or not.

@DanglerB

Can't give you more informations, because I never have seen the contract (should pay money)

@all
I want just some response from you and some opinions about those terms. I will not make everything public.
This topic was considered to warn all people who wants to start a tool franchise without to check a contract, specially from some spooky internet vendors somewhere in china.
I had an oppurtunity with a tool franchise from a company which sells a lot of tools from asia....

@Monte

Please, don't write brands here, could be to suspicious....never said that Snap-on does those terms! I mean Snap-on is an international company with a good reputation, we all love their tools!

No, I would not send money or agree to a contract I have not seen. If they can't be upfront, they are hiding something. I will only do business with people who I can trust.
