does it come with spoons and forks, and chisels
That's cool, I never saw them..........LOL:beer:

No I think OEM is pretty good,
we Had some of there pullers at work, and some other things.
Pretty sure autozone rents a lot of the OEM tools in there rental program.

I should probably keep some spoons and forks in my box so people stop taking them though...
I have some cheap craftsman that keep shattering, I figure that anything has got to be better than those
I have a small set of bosch punches I've beat on well past their intended use and they've held up well

Kitts?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes. I had seen the Craigslist ad for SK 1310 on sale at Kitts for $22?. Saw the 14pc Duro/Indestro on the shelf with the SK stuff. So I figured that I could not lose. A USA made giant rail of sockets for $7.99...

Got me a few toptul sockets from Dennis today. Impressed with the quality of the sockets.

Actually once upon a time they called their finish water satin, and they may still but its pretty unique to toptul.

Satin chrome is their term. It's a nice looking unique finish. Very smooth, if not almost a slick feeling to them.

It looks wild! It looks like they really did spend time polishing them in a few stages before coating. Most satin finishes are no where near as smooth as those.

I think you'll enjoy them. I've got that set as well and they've been fantastic. My favorite sockets so far.

I don't have the really big ones that you have on a separate rail though. I'll have to check eBay. All I've got in that size are impacts and they're very thick.

Picked up another cabinet. I think this makes 22? or 25? Something like that....

And this one is full of dividers and slots. Came from March AFB at one time.

Is there a tool question thread? One where I could post questions on different tools and ask for some advice? I'd rather not clutter up threads with them

A couple of good deals this week: my Mac dealer (buddy) took the air saw in on trade and sold it to me for $20 :wtf: The blades were as much as the saw. The snap on radiator picks are new and the snap on dealer gave me a deal on that, the ratchet was just a new head kit, then some socks, etc.

I got those wide tip hose picks a couple of months ago too and I've used them several times...... not actually on a hose yet. Turns out they come in handy for lots of light prying tasks as well. One of them worked well for prying up the coils off the plugs on my Mazda CX9.

Armstrong 1/2" long handled locking flex head. Since Armstrong has gone the way of the dodo and I like the feel of the handle I thought I'd finish off my ratchet collection with this. Thanks Harry Epstein.

I don't use 1/2" drive much but when I do I always seem to be grabbing a long handle, and my Cornwell is a non-flex. Love the locking flex head!

Strouty, You already owe me! Because of you, I spent damn near $1k on Vim Magrail TL (and some MTS magnetic socket holders). I can't believe how much room those saved!

I'll go snap some pictures tonight.

I have one of those and love that thing it's the best one I've found and a bargain I bought mine around Christmas along with a bit set that came with 1/4 impact sockets and adapter which are also superb.
I live by alot of factories and I've found alot of apex industrial sockets and adapters at my local pawn shop and got them for next to nothing and I love them equally I have 4 1/4 ,3 3/8,and 3 1/2 they look identical to the snap on one's and I have less than $5 in them I use them alot only downside is they are all pin lock and 1/4 are a bear to get off. I have no idea why someone would need the 1/2 ones the sharks are not 1/4 on those they are huge they must be fore a nut runner or something there's a Ford and Toyota plant by me I'd say most gets smuggled out in peoples pockets.

Sorry.......

Don't feel bad, I spent at least a grand on those VIM rails, still have a few to fill. On another note, I am buying 12 Lista workstations, with 192 drawers total. Got to wait until the end of the month to get them. I am doing my entire stockroom with them!

Picked up a Sanborn 3/4" impact this morning at a yard sale. Although I bought it to flip, it would be OK to keep if I don't sell it.
