Hey ya'll,

I've been using photobucket for a long time now, but all the ads have made the site almost un-usable and it's time for me to bail. Just wondering what others here use, why you like it, and what features you use.

Mostly I just use the hosting, but the online tools for simple image mainpulation are important to me, especially re-sizing.

Oh, and ease of uploading from my iPhone is of paramount importance. Photobucket ***** bad for that.

Your not alone.

What do you all like for photo hosting the photos you attach to threads? I've used Photo Bucket for years but it's gotten so horribly slow and full of annoying adds I want to find something new. BC

I sometimes use an image host, usually tinypic, but usually only when it's a post where I'm not concerned with the image standing the test of time.

I hate photobucket because they block my entire isp's IP range (they actually block almost 1/3 of the entire internet). Anyone uses photobucket I will never be able to see the image they posted.

If it's something I'd rather others be able to see long term then I prefer to click the 'Go advanced' button and use the attach files option here at GJ.

None of them!
I dislike 3rd party hosts (not only for their sales adverts) but because they tend to disappear from the posts after a short time. Its much better to attach them (Insert image icon) from your computing devices memory direct to the GJ site to preserve them! It's a joke to research topics and the subject image is missing.
