Hey all, i'm in the process of building a steel truss 38x40 pole barn and plan on closing it in soon after but not sure about the best way to frame the garage doors on the gable end. Do i set more 6x6 posts in the ground to hang the doors on? Or is it best to pour the slab first then frame the door off that?

We usually put poles in the ground, but it's not always necessary.

Thanks for all the info. Looks like posts are the way to go. I have 38' on the gable side. Now I need to decide on 3 10ft doors or two 16ft. What would you prefer?
