Mods, please move this if i'm in the wrong spot:

Hello All,

I thought there was an astro tools rep on this forum, If anyone knows who that is specifically, can you direct them to this thread? I have some questions regarding their ball joint service sets and their website appears to be down.

The info I am looking for is if the 7865 will cover my 07 Avalanche and 04 jeep wrangler with the Dana 30 front axle or would i need to step up to the 7897.

There is about a $40 jump. I need to do the ball joints on my Avalanche first, so if the 7865 works and I can buy adapters for the jeep later, that would work too.

Also, if anyone has suggestions or opinions on a c frame press like this, I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance.

I'd buy the big set. You want to do upper controls arms and lower ball joints on that truck.

Hey catron, you're correct. Our website is down, or will have limited access for a while longer. We're experiencing some attacks at the moment (I blame the Russians).

Regarding the ball joint set. You'll be needing the 7897, and even then the Avalanche can be a bit odd access wise - just keep reaching for adapters until you find something you like, that's what i do.
