i saw it a few months ago but i didn't really look at it. today the wife wanted to look at a pair of shoes at sears and for the first time in my adult life there wasn't anything i needed at sears so i stopped to look at this box.
i'm not impressed. granted, i'm not a mechanic and i'm not around high end tool boxes much but i would expect more for almost 10 grand. theres paint missing from where the door on the top cabnet has been rubbing the frame. if you close the door it sticks and you can see the gap isn't even from top to bottom on the door frame. maybe the people who put it together didn't do it right.
also on the "grip latch" there's only one latch per drawer. other tool boxes have 2 per drawer. probably not a big deal since they don't accually lock the drawers, they just keep them from accidentally opening.
i'm sure it's a fine box but i wouldn't pay 10 grand for it even if i did have the money. and i'm a big craftsman fan.
