oh forgot to mention the 3/8" i've had since last year, that was the prior gen torque wrench. The 1/2 and 1/4 has the updated software and much quicker to start up than the 3/8"

I don't think your typical Snap-On dealer will have these on promo, I paid almost full price for the torque wrenches. These are mainly sold to industrial customers. There are two on ebay right now for about $500 and $600

It is a short shank normal handle wide blade flat screwdriver mainly for farm equipment but I use it for Holley carburetors.

I am surprised there are no flats on it for a wrench assist, but hey if it's no-slip fit- A+

I use a longer shaft screwdriver for the lower units on outdrives and outboards.

I like the short shaft for carbs simply because it fits under the hoods easier.

Ill be damned if I was going to let JH Williams get away with the last piece of my socket puzzle. Waited a few months for these! Note date of manufacturer is 4/22/17.2a97b9aff8ab12932e26cfebc66ea499.jpg

Went to HD looking for some clamps that convert to spreaders.. Was planning to just buy 2 12" but for $5 more I could get deeper 12" clamps and two 6" as well.. Also found another Crescent USA made cutter and plier set. SK 3/8" 6mm from the socket of the month program d54328ee41dcdb775c6f85c26c01cd39.jpg

Picked up a 1/4 and 3/8 inch NOS set of Kobalt made in USA ratchets at a local junk store for 10 buxx.

I'm not sure if they are but the heads look identical to the USA NAPA's

Don't those have the same internals as a CM ratchet?

Wow nice, almost never see the screwdrivers now here in the UK, a few on eBay but not many.
I would definitely buy some of the duplicates.

Tool haul from yesterday compliments of the snap on student program. Figured I'd make use of that page one last time before my account expires since I graduated.

These came in a couple of days ago, the finish is stunning and the ratcheting action sound made a grumpy old coworker smile. I'm really impressed of the way the splines grip a 12 point engine bolt.

I bought a 3/4" SAE and metric U.S.A. Williams sets last year about this time. It took a little longer for them to arrive as well. Like they're made after so many orders. Over all I've been happy with them. Price wasn't bad either.

At the beginning of the month, the local(ish) Woodcraft had their "garage sale."

Here's what I came home with:

First up, the Mirka CEROS Demo Station. A Mirka CEROS sander (inside the Systainer at the moment), premium vac, short hose, the stand itself, and an assortment of Mirka Abranet and other sanding discs.

Second pic is a miscellany of odds and ends. Two Kreg Automax bench clamps, some Bosch Multi-tool blades, a dust collection shroud for one of my routers, some clamp bar protectors, a replacement pad and some sanding discs, and a couple of drawer pulls.

All in all, quite happy, the whole kit and kaboodle cost me $425. I'll be turning the demo station into a dust collection cyclone unit using the vac and a Dust Deputy.

Cornwell Metric 1/2" impacts (with an SK in place of the missing 16mm). I had no clue the cart mount rail was included, and really like it.
Milwaukee 1/2" Mid-torque. Got it after wrestling with the heavy *** High-torque under the ol' lady's 4runner pulling the transmission for a clutch job.
CAT branded Snap-on 3/8" metric universal sockets, and an Ernst rail to put them on.

Project shadow how much did that vim set run you if you don't mind me asking.
I was using my torx bits today and I'm in need of a bunch.... to say the least.
