New guy from Northwestern Ohio area.

Finally settled in to our "New" house, a huge step up from our starter house. I'll either be making an addition to my current 2 car garage, or building another one. Finally moved from out of the city with no yard to just shy of a 1/2 acre. I think I attached a picture of the current garage correctly haha.

YN: sometimes adding on a big shop to the back even in the country will allow you to avoid drainage and other types of engineering that NEW CONSTRUCTION usually triggers. if you have septic do you have the plan from your health department or the seller so you know where the tank and drainfields are including where they have a reserved drainfield planned? or are you on sewer?

good luck and welcome to the group. nice original handle BTW. :D

I have city sewer and water. Was well about 15 years ago, but that's in the front yard. And the sewer is on the other side of the house luckily.

Hopefully the township building will be of help tomorrow. I live in a small village. So much nicer, came from a relatively big city and getting a permit was like a blindfolded treasure hunt
