acme has several good deals currently:

free 6AH M12 battery with select tools. i bought the 2520-20 fuel hackzall, got the free battery. (at the time, there was also a 10% off sale going on, which is now over, but they allowed me to stack the deals.)

they also have the same deal that CPO has for buying two bare tools, and getting a contractors bag with either two 5AH batteries, or a 9AH starter kit (which includes one of the new chargers). i have been waiting on CPO to get the 2861 mid-torque in since this deal appeared, but they have not so far. acme got the deal, and had the 2861 in stock, so i bought two, and got two 5AH batteries. i'll give one 2861 to my recently graduated son, along with the two batteries to use on it, for his graduation present.

here is the acme page that has all the stuff. if you want to verify the contents of the "free kits" just search for BAREKIT1 or BAREKIT2 for details:

http://www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/milwaukee-tools

i have been waiting for a "better deal" on the mid torques. when acme did the 10% off early in may, i thought about it, but decided i wanted the tool below 150$, so i held off. getting the two batteries, which seem to go on ebay for above 60$ each, is a fair tradeoff (which is, of course, why milwaukee does it)

I've been getting by with the m12 line for a while, but, I suppose this is one way to break into the m18 line [emoji15]

Thanks naigar for making me check my local HD, and great first post[emoji106]

I had my hopes up since you were in CA. I drove to several surrounding stores, but they were 599 still. I had them actually price them too. bummer. This would have been what got me into the M18 Line

I got the 6s from CPO some time ago, latest ones were backordered from my 2494-22 kits I got for less than $99 with a free 6.0. I actually got ship notice on them tonight.

i ordered a fuel hackzall on 15may, which i recall being after you mentioned that you had not gotten your batteries. the hackzall was on a deal that included a 6AH M12 battery. it took about a week for the hackzall to return to stock, but they shipped both the tool and the battery together sometime around the 21st.

I saw that. Thinking about the 15ga one. I got the 16ga earlier this year new off ebay for $245 and thought I was doing good. Given the retail price they might hit $200 before to long in store.

yeah local flippers already at $200-220 price range :rocker: I will be patient and get me a kit at $120-150 :willy_nil

I just bought a 16g nailer. It's going back. On my test nails with 1.5" 16g paslode nails into 2x4s, it just couldn't consistently sink or drive a nail. 1/3 is bent, the rest are inconsistent. THis is with normal holding and putting my body on the back of the nailer. A paslode won't do this. Adjusting the depth doesn't produce results. Also the 18g nailer is the same size body as the rest, so it's bigger than the competition. I'd pass.

I can't get the all battery powered nailers to work as good as the gas paslode.. Maybe the next models will be better.

I emailed Mil, they said their piston delivers MORE power than a paslode or pnumatic nailer. I guess their way the power is delivered (either too much or too little up front or in back of the motion) is different.

I had a similar experience with the 18g. Unfortunately I held onto it for too long before trying to use it, couldn't bring it back.

I'm hoping for a better performing gen 2 at some point in the future. I refuse to buy into another battery line (Ryobi) and a compressor with my "shop" setup isn't feasible. I've made it this long without a nailer...

Can this be done without a Facebook account? I'd like the deals, but I don't want a Facebook account.

Do you have Paypal? I do have FB but everything went through Paypal, just give him what you want and adress in comments section. I beleive he does have a website, but it's not updated very often.

if nick still has any there is no mention on fb about it.

I never even saw the boot mentioned on FB, just PMed him with the part number and he said 30 bucks Paypal shipped. A few days later it arrived, drop shipped though.
It is shady, but I have yet to hear a legit complaint about the guy, hell of a businessman!:rocker:

It would be shady if he had you pay as a 'friend or family' transaction, where you have no protection. It's like selling outside of ebay, as long as you go through PayPal & they get their 3%, the customer is protected.

I sell Some of the extras from Nicks deals, and like clockwork, every-time I am asked where do you get all these tools. When they don't believe the 'tool fairy,' I tell them 'a guy in jersey.'

According to the signage in HD you should get a free M12 6.0 with 2494-22 kit even though the kut is on sale for $99 for fathers day.

You can return the 2494-22 kit for a refund of $52. The 6ah battery will end up costing $47.

Already hit dat.

Was going to buy a couple 1/4" ratchets for Father's Day. Found it was cheaper to buy bare tools, a combo kit, and a charger. Acme had the combo for $99, ordered it. HD then through in the battery, so I cancelled Acme.

Nice! So instead of $159 (lowest price online) x 2 for the ratchet kits, I'll be able to $132ea w/ free drill, impact , and a deeeluxxe bag. The old man is going to love the tool, hate hearing my shopping story for the third time.

Damn. Wish I hadn't opened the 4.0 battery that was $40 on clearance. Will definitely get at least 1 6.0.

$7 upgrade. Yea that's a no brainer. I've still got a new 2.0 from the heated gear promo so maybe I'll sell that one.

What?:headscrat

You bought:

2x ratchet kits
1x combo kit with battery

Then you returned the battery?

All that made it come out to be $132 each?

So where (link please) did you end up buying from?

Just grabbed this, thanks. My store didn't have it signed at all.

Ironically I bought the 2494 kit as an actual Father's Day gift and I'm keeping the 6.0!

Pretty sure I won't be able to comment without an account.

I still have no idea which Facebook account I should look up, though. All that's being repeated is a single name.
Start here -
www.jerseydiscounttoolco.com
Nick J Morello III on Facebook. Hangs out on Snap On Mac Tools Matco Buy / Sell / Trade for Mechanics Page.
He runs a Gearwrench tool truck and has some decent deals he post frequently. Lots of flash sales for limited amounts and lots of sales for Milwaukee. The Facebook page is more impressive than the website.
