Hey Everyone,

I am new to the thread and would like to say WHATS UP! to everyone.

After a few year hiatus from building lowrider trucks and motorcycles I am more eager to get back into the "shop" (my garage lol) than ever! Its time to upgrade some sh!t and get myself some propper tools.

I am looking to get a new ToolChest and i have checked out the dimensions on alot of cases. I think I have narrowed my search down to the SPG International 56" because it is 24.5" deep where alot of cases are only 18" deep.

I am wondering if anyone has one of these and can give me some feed back on them OR If anyone knows about them and can assist.

Also, if anyone recomends a different ToolChest with roughly the same dimensions that would be MINT . Im looking for at least 56" wide and 24" deep.

Thanks Everyone! Cheers

The V Series or value line SPG International are decent for the price, but nothing special (I have one). Made in Canada, they are just like the series says, a very good value. If you load medium to full, it will be OK. If you stuff it with lots of weight, it will struggle or not last long. You also need to lock the drawers if you roll it around the detents don't hold well and will always open when moving (I have heard this from others also)

The higher series, more expensive are highly touted by many, personally I can't say but their price puts them inline with many of the decent mid tier level boxes.

Depending up your location there's a guy in the high desert of SoCal that offers smoking deals on these. But to answer your question they're a pretty good bang for the buck.

Thanks for the info.
I think i am going with the VRT 5606 which is the Tech series. For hobby use working on motorcycles, cars and pickup trucks i should be fine. If i was doing some heavy duty **** that required tons of impact sockets and massive wrenches ect ect than maybe something with a higher weight cap would be better. But! for simple wrenchin it should work.
