Me and my friend Max went to a garage sale this morning that advertised truck brand tools but no pics. We got their early and we got all the good stuff. Of course he bought stuff I wanted but I am happy with that I got. The tools are rusty. I will need to spend some time cleaning them.

1. Snap-on on 1/4 and 3/8 master sets still in the box brand new. I got them for $200. Yes you read that right $200. I am still in shock. I got this later on in the day when I came back. He didn't want to sell them but I told him to throw out a price and he said $200?

2. Snap-on on screwdriver set with ratcheting screwdriver $75

3. Matco 10mm-19mm box end ratcheting wrench set $75. It was missing the 14mm and 15mm but he found the 14mm later in the day.

Yeah it was definitely a steal at $200. Since I already have a full short, semi deep, and deep snap-on set these are going for sale. I don't have any snap-on 3/8 sockets but this set is a pretty basic set anyway. So since these are both brand new the best thing would be to sell them.

Nice haul Cody only you would stumble on that one

I went with my friend Max and He got a lot of nice stuff as well. He went in first so he got some stuff I wanted. I had to fight him to get the matco box end set. I was lucky and he didn't see the snap-on screwdriver set. Their are no friends when the doors open at the sales. So I don't hold anything against him.

I went back later in the day to see if the guy found the two missing matco wrenches and the stubby snap-on screwdriver that was missing in the set. He found one of the wrenches and the screwdriver. I asked him if he had any 3/8 snap on socket sets and he pulled this out of his personal collection. He didn't want to sell it but I talked him into it.

Nice haul.

What would you and the friend charge to pick out lotto numbers for the next big jackpot for me?

I have tried getting some of the rust of the tools. The rust is coming off pretty easy on the snap-on impact sockets but not on the rest. I am going to need to buy some evapo-rust for the rest. Plus the matco ratcheting mechanisms are locked up so hopefully a soak In the evapo-rust will loosen them up.
