Working on converting two old buildings (one an old bank barn foundation, one a block building) into a garage/workshop. First step, fix the drainage to get the water/soil/root pressure off the uphill walls. Note the damage to the block building wall. The stone barn foundation has a similar bulge, not readily apparent in the photo.

All dug out, on the the drain pipe.

It is time to level everything and start fresh. I am sure it will cost you less in time and money.

Thanks, you may be right. So far, I am about $500 into tree and stump removal and excavation. However, I would have to pay for the excavation and drainage either way.

The barn foundation has some historic/sentimental value, so I will probably pursue its renovation. I have a couple of jacks-of-all-trades doing the work, so I am not paying tradesman rates.

Going by the 2 photos that are posted, I would doze it and use the foundation stone in the build or in some feature. But.....whatever you do, post pictures!
