I would have thought that you might have considered at this point your not able to start this compressor with an empty tank, how are you going to start this with a load in the tank. An unload er can only do so much.
Once again, disconnecting the copper line completely unloads the compressor. Once the compressor is up to speed, the unloader (be it a solenoid valve, or a bunch of extra tubing) will kick off and engage the compressor. There is nothing to start, since the compressor will already be running.

Check out the engine HP on an engine driven compressor with the delivery specs of your compressor and see what it is.

It's very approximate calculation. There is no gas powered air compressors with 60 gal tank. Considering only CFM@psi, in my case it is ~16cfm@90psi. There are multiple engines from 5hp to 14hp that produce less or more air. Assuming the average is 10hp, it consists with my generator engine which is 18hp.

Honestly, my plan is to buy a solenoid and timer. I just need couple days to research the best configuration for that - standalone or built-in timer, 2 vs 3 way etc.

I would verify you have a viable solution before you spend $ on a timer and SV. Do the tests previously recommended first after you get a few more caps.

1) Remove the large tube from the compressor and start up comp. Verify if you install it back on once at full speed while running, gen can handle it.
2) Either with long length of tubing in place or simply disconnecting 1/4" line - Verify if you install it back on once at full speed while running, gen can handle it. If yes, go buy the parts.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and comments, it seems that the issue has been resolved.

I've made copper line from the pump to the tank with manual release valve:

And it worked great!

Then I replaced it by the electric solenoid valve + delay timer from American Locomotive's post, and it also worked like a charm:

And here is the video of compressor starting at 125 psi after releasing the pressure from 150psi (SOUND WARNING, the video is loud, please set speakers on minimum):
