Bluebolt: as usual, I need nearly all of your rescues for my collection. I'll PM you an offer.

Oh, and you might as well plan on trading/selling the little Barcalo to Don--he's managed to pry away from me every one I've ever found. :)

If the little Barcalo is available, here are a few wrenches available as trade bait. If none of these are appealing, I have some DOEs and Combos, too

A great set of old long-C Craftsman, Outlaw.

Two packages from fellow GJers arrived today. One contained a nice Indestro Super from Usernamealreadyinuse that I had previously admired. He passed it on to me to hang in the BBWMD with pride. The other package contained a very generous trade by d42jeep, giving me four DBEs for one little ol' Barcalo Buffalo deep offset from WWII production.

b818760b2ecda664fa095e45c5a507ae.jpg

Unknown offset stubby, 1-2" x 9-16" -- pretty old little Cannuck, eh? No ideas as to manufacturer

of.

I can"t beleive i just read 40 pages of dbe wrenches, and enjoyed it so much.

This was made by gray, i have two that are the same shape, but have the name marked. Also Gray used the - instead of / for the fractional sizes at one point, which would make me believe this was older, 50's i would guess? Gray was probably still partnered with bonny then.

Legend has it gray sold some unwarrantied wrenches in certain stores that didnt have their name marked, or it could have possibly been a contract thing? Ill try to add some pics later.

By the way. Reading this i learned that tru-fit wasnt import junk :eyecrazy: I think i have a few trufit wrenches i threw in my junk wrench bin thinking they were dollar store imports :shocking:

I may have posted a couple of these before in here but can't remember. I keep finding myself checking this thread every time it comes up to check out some of you guys findings. I decided today to go through a few of my toolboxes and post up some of my own I've accumulated.

2x Craftsman 42957 -VV- angled, 13mm x 15mm
2x Craftsman 42961 -VV- angled, 16mm x 18mm

Craftsman 43919 -VV- angled, 1/4" x 5/16"
Craftsman 43919 -V- angled, 1/4" x 5/16"
Craftsman 43923 -VV- angled, 1/2" x 9/16"
Craftsman 43927 -VV- angled, 11/16" x 13/16"

Well, I was thinking that I had stored up a few DBEs to post from the past few weeks, but r_olson is killing it! Those are some nice looking DBEs.

Here's the lot that I've managed to bring home.

A few short pattern. Jos Shaw Co, Lectrolite, Bonney, and unbranded Chrome Alloy that looks like maybe Williams, number is 19723.

attachment.php

Long pattern Wizzard, couple of P&C and a Bonney

attachment.php

A few more. S-K Lectrolite, old Snap-on, and a Barcalo

Never seen or heard of Joe Shaw Co. Was it a hardware store line?

Sorry, that's an auto correct fail. Brand is Jos Shaw Co. Perhaps Joseph? I've seen them before, but never put my hands on one prior to this one. I believe they made wrenches for the war effort.
Hmm still a new one for me. I am still trying to find the origins of this Riverside brand. I am starting to see them more and more.

I see two DBE both ends same size, one end offset.
One looks to be Bonney, can't make out the other.

What are they?

From my understanding SK made their sockets and drive tools. The wrenches could be lectrolite certainly.

Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

That Tiger doesn't look Lectrolite to me. Looks more like Indestro/Duro given the non-rounded ends of the raised panel. Lectrolite was always rounded off.

Do you mean the end of the raised panel looks pointed? (Especially the 3/4 end) I thought that was dirt or shadow.
If it is round, maybe Vlchek?
Personally, more interested in the Zenel single-offset.

Swap finds for the week. Most were $.50 each some a dollar. The Craftsman was $3 and the super vintage SK was $2.

Very nice. Another Tiger Tools. And it's identical to the SK. Both look Duro made to me.

I think Todd may be looking for that Bonney #21 for his Bonney tool board.

Good stuff!
