I picked this up! Useful when I am trying to get fasteners off in tight quarters and my drill is too big for the space. It comes with a small hollow handle to keep extra bits, made in Taiwan.

I like that. Know what torque it can handle? I just bought the bigger version of that for some tasks

It does not say and I am not too concerned as what I will use it for is relatively light duty nothing that requires a lot of torque just confined space.

I wanted a Milwaukee M12 Led Light... I was adding a bunch of stuff to my Amazon cart for my wife and figured I would "tag one along"... I had a significant gift card balance so... it would have been FREE. Placed the order...

Received the package... opened it... OMG they shipped me the wrong light. They sent me the short stick light... I wanted the Lantern 2362... It has two modes... "Light the wall"... "Light the room"... ALSO has a built in USB charging port for your devices.

Scheduled a return... and placed the order for the correct light.

Nothing crazy here. I've been researching tool cabinets, etc., and I landed several tool backpacks, and several ratcheting screwdrivers: orange Snapon pistol grip, Megapro, Williams WSR1, Rolgear, Husky.

Ironically, I haven't made a decision on too cabinets/boxes. However, I saw this little Kennedy CS-16 on CL and couldn't pass him up for $20. There was a Wiggly 6610-VT Volt tester and Midland 23-101 meter, so I grabbed those for another $10. Not horrible for $30 total

Picked this up from AutoZone a few minutes ago also. Guess what job I'll be performing in the morning after I get off work. 796b4b877df9f5c996c421343e7f9c4f.jpg

Always liked those.
Looks to be in nice condition.
Good find!

Thanks. I wasn't really looking. To be honest, I thought it would be a bit bigger, but was glad that it wasn't. I don't like the weight of bigger metal boxes. I have a Kennedy saw box, I believe. It's rectangular has a green strap. Box is in great shape. I tried selling it at a yard sale, but I'm still looking for its purpose for me.

I have a Kennedy machinist box in very nice shape as well. I'm no collector and can't remember where I got it, or how much I paid - that's unusual for me. I doubt it was a lot, because I don't collect boxes.

Holy Batman that's one serious ratchet. I ordered some Proto hex sockets the other day, have never owned Proto tools before.....seeing them wrenches gives me confidence in the brand. The only ratchet I have that came in a long box was a Stahlwille.

How old is the PROTO ratchet? Seems pretty unusual to me to find a ratchet like that mint in the original box :dunno:

1 inch drive, definitely too large for me though:D

I thought 60's....

I found this info on here..... not my posting.

I have a Proto catalog from 1962/63 and there is a couple of pages in the new tools section about these. They made 3/4 and 1" drive breaker bars and ratchets.

Kind of funny that aluminum was considered a "space age" metal.

Heres the pages

Proto was a brand my dads friend used in the mines for a lot of years with IR owned them... Totally awesome tools... I think they are as great and totally put them on the really short list next to snapon.

I still like PROTO today. You may not get the fancy stuff the tool trucks have but, I've found PROTO to be solid performing tools day in and year out.

That's a pretty unique and rare aluminum ratchet. I'm thinking early 1960s when space exploration was the rage. Finding the matching breaker bars will be quite the challenge but, a great accomplishment when found

One of my coworkers cut a live wire with my old Klein 1000 wires strippers and offered to replace them. I paid the difference and got these. I like them so far
