Industrial Reel Shop Light

Looking for a industrial retractable shop light on a reel that I can ceiling mount. There are a ton of options out there but most have awful reviews and cheap plastic components.

Looking for something that will last that I can put a standard LED bulb in, if it has an outlet on the end cool but not really necessary.

What is everyone using?

I think most of us have given up reel lights in favor of battery.
Just an alternative.

How bout a standard one with an LED bulb screwed into it?
CD

That's what I do. The 100W equivalent LED bulbs are a great upgrade from the 75W shatterproof arm-burner bulbs (just be sure to pick an LED bulb with a plastic and not a glass envelope). I am so happy that I never upgraded to fluorescent.

Just an alternative.

And a pretty darned good alternative at that for many things. I'd say that for every time I use my reel-light, I'll use a battery option at least 20 times nowadays. But the reel light has more overall lighting ability, and I don't mind hanging it from say the sun visor (the LED bulbs won't melt anything), and lighting up the whole car interior for hours, when I'm working at night.

I have some of the battery ones and like them a lot but it would often be nice to have the floorspace clear for jacks/creepers and such.

Have a handful of standard cage lights with led's in them and they work well just kind of a pain to run them around everything sometimes. I get tired of rolling around the cords or having to move them.

I think I found some kind of bug/deal...

I got this for 270$ which is a deal on the product, coxreels makes quality stuff.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000N4PC3I/?tag=atomicindus08-20

If you go there and select "incandescent and 16awg" it drops the price to 270$ and that is for a quality retracting light and air combo.. But..I just tried to do it again and it bugs out and says the price is 44,048.52$$!!

I panicked and checked my cart and was only billed for 270$ ...we'll see if it goes through!

This phenomenon was explained recently. When things at Amazon are sold buy third parties they have so many in stock. They don't order more till they are gone so when they run out they get penalized by Amazon for de-listing an item. What they do is raise the price of the last one so it will never sell. The price will drop when they have more in stock.

Or something like that.
