Hello GJ,

I'm finally getting around to organizing my tools and garage, and a new chest is in order. I'm looking for something rather specific in regards to the dimensions. It doesn't have to be a combo type unit with top and bottom chest, I've seen tall single piece units, those would be fine. Not looking to spend Snap-On money or anything like that. Any basic chest with bearings should do. I can shop in either US or Canadian markets, no preference.

Must be/have:
-36" Wide
-24" deep (or as close to 24" as possible)
-Full width drawers
-Lock
-Affordable

Where should I start looking?

36" wide x 24" deep will narrow your choices.

I think 24" deep would be mostlyvtruck brands, or maybe some of the industrial cabinets like vidmar, Lyon etc?

Okay, doesn't have to be red. I don't mind used, and it doesn't have to be exactly 24" deep, but closer to 24" the better. I realize 18" seems to be the standard depth.

Lista is actually the brand I saw with the one piece vertical unit, unit was used. Waiting on dimensions.

I'm in a major metropolitan area so plenty of used options available.

Thanks for the advice so far, been helpful.

Yes, Waterloo is close. Their MSRP was too high though, need to see if their products can he had cheaper.

What's wrong with Harbor Freight? I've had mine for years with zero issues.

Checked Harbor Freight, they don't make 36" wide versions.

Going to start a new simpler thread with more specifics. Figured out more of what exactly I need since learning about my options.

Thanks for all the help!

Look for a used SO classic 60. 36" wide, 24" deep full width drawer.

Eleven posts and two threads on the same thing. Uh, okayyyy

11 posts in 3 threads on 3 different things.

Read the titles and OPs in each of my threads carefully, they are different.

The real question is, what purpose does your post serve this thread?

Mods please lock this up.
