Been registered here a long time, but haven't had a garage of my own until recently. I bought a townhouse about a year and a half ago and have been slowly getting the garage in order and to my liking, including moving all of the yard equipment outside. I tried to keep it simple and easy to take apart for when I'm ready to move as the townhouse isn't a long-term residence.

I started with the 4 Gladiator cabinets which I then built the work benches around. Sold an older tool box and bought the smaller Snap-on KRA which just happened to fit in the opening of the work bench. Then recently found the steel cabinets on craigslist and painted them to better match my other colors. Last piece of the puzzle was the Snap-on classic 78. Banners and signs and such acquired through the years, mainly from ebay.

Still trying to decide what to do with the floor, if anything. Thanks for the great forum!

Nice looking space... what'd you do to rob all the signage? You have alot of H-town surface street signs it looks like.

Looks great!

Brite, clean, organized. I even kinda like the clean natural floor. Maybe just a nice sealant?

Have ya thought about mounting the wall cabinets on the wall to give you more bench space?

Great space

Thanks! I thought about mounting the wall cabinets, but they are really heavy. They are all steel and would take a good amount of bracing in order for them to be secure. I've only had them in place for about a week. If I find myself needing more bench space I'll probably get rid of the tv. I find myself using the top of the toolbox now more than anything.

The snap on looks right at home beside the gladiators . Nice work .

Thanks!

Thanks! Signs were all damaged during the hurricane here in Houston last year and were scrapped. The others are all 'retired' signs. Nothing illegal.

You're losing a lot of precious counter space by just placing those metal cabinets there. I'd look into getting those hanging from the walls and hang that TV from a wall mounted hanger so you can regain your work space.

Where did you get the BFGoodrich banners! I love the two 4x4 ones, but i have seen some banners of drift cars as well that I liked. Are they easy to find/acquire?

BFG banners all came from ebay. Periodically they pop up. I paid like $2 each for the yellow F150 and pink rover and $1 each for the orange S10 and pink S10. The BFG car banners are much more popular and sell for significantly more.

I know I'm giving up a lot of space, but I don't want to go through the hassle of hanging when I might not be in the house but for another year or so. I'm looking at getting the TV up, but might ditch it all together.

I spy some Meguiar's products in the cabinets...Must have clean cars too!

You are right on the Meguiar's! Similar to tools, everyone has their favorite detailing supplies and opinions. I like Meg's as it is easy to obtain and an overall good value (in my opinion).

looks great..I love the cabinet bank.

Thanks! I like everything to be behind a closed door. To me gives it a clean feel (although the walls are very busy).
