That would be a good on for the real tool reviews guy to adapt a socket extension and put on his torque machine to compare.

That's not how that works at all, the HP rating is a function of torque x rpm just like an engine. It's a different device to measure air tool HP. You usually base the rating on motor size (often diameter but on grinders and other larger air tools length as well).

It's not for everyone. I had a customer's get away from him.. It cut through his overalls upper pocket and took a thumb nail off in one clean sweep. He grinned and said " I love that damn thing it's awesome". He was a body tech using it to cut through a big truck hood.

The other issue with this big die grinders is how much air they use. Figure a 7.5-10 HP air compressor is needed unless this one is a unicorn.

The web site specs say 4.5 CFM. I think the decimal point is in the wrong place.

We got a 1hp dotco right angle and it requires great respect. With good burrs it will produce a pile of shavings without hesitation.
