thanks a ton. just found out the hard way, if anyone has an existing order that they want to apply this code to, just call the store. i spent 15 minutes on the phone trying to cancel an earlier order, which they couldn't do as the order had already been staged for shipment.

Odd-it adds the free battery, but then won't let me check out because all of the selections for pickup and delivery are unavailable?

Edit: so, battery has to be available for store pickup to work.

Just picked up my Dewalt Circular Saw and 6 amp-hr battery. Last saw in the store and they had to hunt 30 minutes to find it on the top rafters. Thanks for alerting of this deal.

Would have been nice to get the $25 off $100 deal, but I did get 10% military discount.

Thanks, got the sawzall, as I've been wanting one for a while. Used a renovopower.com $20 off $100 coupon, as I didn't act quickly enough on the $25. What a pain to find a store with the battery in stock and the saw. Ended up getting free delivery of saw and will go to pick up the battery from a store a bit further away.

So I am still waiting for the sawsall to arrive and the battery isn't in the store yet ... and I'm now ordering the oscillating tool too. I found I have a need for one, and if I sell one battery, it'll basically cost me about $40 for the tool :) I'd sooner pay $40 for the dewalt tool than $25 for the corded Harbor Freight version.

Thanks for the original deal post.

Thanks for the original deal post.

I picked up the DeWalt 20v multi tool a few months ago. This tool has amazing power. I like the variable speed control and the freedom of being cordless. I'm a finish carpenter and this tool comes in handy in so many ways. The DeWalt has a quick release option for blade removal and it has a second option to use a bolt to install competitor blades but I find it easy to modify my large selection of Dremel blades to make them usable with the quick release feature, i simply grind out a small section of metal that blocks it from fitting the shaft. I used one of the supplied DeWalt blades as a template and marked the competitor blades and grinned away...This thing even has a bright LED light that illuminates the work piece.

So because of this thread I am the new owner of the DeWalt 20v 7.25" circular saw and a 6.0ah battery. Because of this dewalt deal Im thinking about picking up a second multi-tool because I already got the sawzall but the battery deal is a grand-slam of a deal...

I got the circular saw and the oscillating tool. Had to drive 50 miles, one way, to get them. By the time I got to the edge of town, they were calling. I also got the $25 off each item (had to make two orders). Later, I tried to use the $25 off to get the two pack of DeWalt grinders, but it seems to have expired. I'm satisfied. Through this, I also confirmed the old lady bought me the oscillating tool kit, last year. I'll sell this one, or keep it as a backup. I also already had the 6.5" circular saw (old model), but I wanted to upgrade and I can easily sell this one for more than I have in it. I just bought the compact reciprocating saw, or I would have got that, too.

No need to send PM just google it and you can make your own, or go to site that makes them for free.

I just setup the in-store pickup for the oscillating tool and free battery w/ $25 off. About $115 out the door...it's waiting for me at the lowes when I get off work. I mainly bought it for the battery.

I already have a Fein from years ago before anyone else started making them, but I've got a guy at work that wants that for $70, so this worked out well.

Oh, that ***** for me. Oh well.

Note ebates were doing 1.5% cash back, and doubling it. So another $3 there ... Maybe $110 out the door is just about possible.

I wonder...since the tool and the battery is on the receipt as 2 separate line items, the battery at a price of $0.00, what if I go back tomorrow and return the tool? Think they'll let me?

What does it say? As often I see text (mainly at Home Depot) that says something like 'all items must be returned for a full refund'.

Well that's the case in any purchase, but HD pro rates those kind of discounts among the applicable products, and you can return any part of your purchase and the savings still applied to the other item.

Don't have any reason to see how Lowes handles their returns, but no one is walking away with free tools

I read this thread last evening and couldn't resist. I went to lowes.com and added the circular saw to my cart, battery appeared automatically. I than applied the promo code posted by the OP and BAM -$25, total was 144 with tax. My first time ordering from lowes online, i checked out as a guest but I went strait to lowes afterwards and the service desk already had my order on the desk processing it, it was fast. Since I already have all the tools in the deal I will just sell the new sealed circular saw for about $120 - $135. The battery WHICH IN KEEPING will end up being $10-25 on my end. Money in the bank, thats how I see it and someone can buy my new saw with a huge 40-50 dollar discount, everybodys happy.
Thanks again guys...

edit, this promo is a deal even with out the extra $25 off. I just got the 20v circular saw last week, first time using one. Man its amazing. I cant wait until I can use it at work on monday...

Sawsall arrived today (Oscillating tool arrived last week). It is awesome. The batteries will finally be in the store for collection Friday. I wish I could justify the circular saw now too.

Thanks to the OP.

NOTE: I called Lowe's general customer support, and they sorted out the $25 coupon (in place of my $20 one), but Lowe's said ''I could only use it on one order, as it would be used up after that'' ... I figured ''whatever, I'm just happy to save a little more''. Apparently I'm getting a gift card for the credit, although it is not at all clear to me how much the gift card will be for.

Now I need an orbital sander.
