Early Wilton C1 symbol?

I picked up a Chicago Wilton C1 this morning. It has a stamping or logo on it I've not seen before. The vise is the same model as the vise in this eBay auction (below pics are from that eBay listing):

Anyone know what it is?
Safety glasses?
Elvis glasses?
Demonic symbol?
Gordian knot?
Pretzel?



Also - it has one broken foot, so I'm looking for a replacement $wivel base.

I'd say a foundry mark, but I haven't seen that one.
