I thought I would look at framing nailers today since it looks like there have been some good deals lately. I think I did ok.

on the milwaukee nailers, store display has tag saying display only. An employee said they are missing parts but could still sell if I wanted. Does anyone know what parts might be missing if any at all or should I just stay away.

Is it cordless or pneumatic? I've seen some cordless display models that look like they have a hole drilled through them to render them inoperable.

I've asked employees before what exactly is missing from them but can never get a straight answer.

The hole doesn't damage the display. BUT the actual tool is missing the wiring/electronics and the bottom battery connection is a dummy. Not worth buying. Tool manager gave it to my buddy for free. I took it apart. Look at schematic if you want to take that challenge at making it work but don't pay anything near the .03 price.

They just put most of the guts for to get the feel for the weight. The funny part is they made a special bracket to keep the battery attached to a dummy unit, when most all of the other nailers are displayed w/o battery. The store I went to said they had 1, and that was all I could find, but was disappointed after I found a person to remove & saw the tag

Some circuit breaker panels dropped again and a fluorescent fixture.

Not 100% positive, but believe the remote switch sitting on the shelf above the circuit breaker panels is currently a penny. I picked up a bunch of them at a few of my local stores. Basically allows you to hook a remote switch (battery operated) to a door or other opening (i.e. a window, garage door, etc.) and it will signal a plug in switch to turn on a light or other electrical item. See picture below.......SKU 1000-003-082.

Pennied out at my store, they've been sitting on a clearance end cap since late May, they've been 79.00 since they first moved over there then today I took one to the PCA and it was a penny so I grabbed the other 5. I took it to contractor checkout and after scanning and seeing it show up a penny the cashier put them in my cart with my other items and item corrected the item off the receipt and sent me on my merry way.

My local home depot had a whole bunch of tools laying out on a table marked down. Old display stuff... I picked these up. As soon as I walked up to the table the poor cashier lady came running up to me yelling "hey we can work with you these prices" . Well of course I'll pay even less for a new tool. They took 10$ off each price tag. Can't complain, both work, and I had been wanting that impact wrench.

By accident.
Digging for 1/4in plywood, came across two sheets IronPly Plywood (Underlayment).
No price on rack. Rang up as 1 cent each. Had no luck finding more at my store.

(Cashier called for help to confirm and received answer to mark them NC - no charge, saved TWO CENTS! :) )

I bought 2 of these for when the kids open the door to the garage. Could only use one though; they kept interfering with each other. Also, they didn't like being plugged into the garage door opener receptacle. Otherwise great product.

These are "mutilated samples" specifically mutilated in an industry-agreed upon way so they dont have to pay import duty on sales and engineering samples. Power Tool industry cuts the cord, clothing industry usually takes a big hole out the center back of a garment.

Thanks for that, this was a great score. I left with every last one of the contractor kits and the load centers. Needed one for my 200 amp to 400 amp service upgrade, and used the rest in barter with my electrician to cover wire, labor, RV/EV charging hookup, 230v drops in the garage, automatic transfer switch, and my new electric on demand water heater.

Got a few of these as well. They come in handy when working on your car or a job site.

HD in **** Rapids MN has 4 foot fluorescent light lithonia fixtures for 10.03 regular 39. Had 6 of them yesterday.

I did not get as a google search indicated people have had radio interference with these ballasts.

May be a good deal for someone
