Stevens Walden Ratchet Adapters?

Has anyone seen these before? I came across them at an estate sale this week and thought they were interesting. Appear to be used to turn your breaker bar into a ratchet? The drive size is the same on both sides.

I've got one. Found it 9 years ago.

Took a rubber walking stick boot and turned it into a palm ratchet. Bulletproof reliable.

I have Snapon and Craftsman versions. They used to be really handy before they made large quality ratchets. Now they just sit in the toolbox.
