Has anyone else ordered from rocketiaq, deals were posted around the 18th, and received there order?
They are replying to emails, however I feel that I am getting the run around / generic replies.
I have also noticed lots of negative feedback posted on their site recently regarding the same issues.
For promising 3 day delivery and rocket speed I am not impressed

Add me to the list of people who ordered and have not received a shipping notification. However, they have NOT been returning emails to the customer service email address in my case, and their phone number is essentially useless - an automatic recording that states "all customer service reps are busy" then switches to an after-hour number later in the day.

Further, they sent me 36 (!) emails in one day with advertisements about a week after I made the purchase. I unsubscribed and they've stopped, but that is absolutely unreasonable.

BIG thumbs down so far.

I just got another email from them... instead of telling me the typical "it'll ship early to mid next week" I got "will have it out by the end of this week"... should I consider that progress?

Makes me want to cancel.. say I get my batteries and one is faulty and ij have to return it... do I want to go thru that **** again?

"Hello!

This is Greg at RocketIAQ.com My sincerest Apologies, I was able to get a concrete response from Fulfillment and they have your order scheduled to ship no later than Monday. I honestly think, he was over anticipating so it may go out today, However, I don't want it not to go out today and leave you high and dry over the weekend.
As usual you will receive tracking when it ships in email.
And you can cancel prior to it shipping, so please let me know asap if this doesn't work for you.

Regards
Greg.

"

I'll play along for awhile longer, they could be a legitimate company that got swamped with orders...

Yes it's the price of the bare tool but it's the kit that come with 2 batteries and a case. I would assume a charger too. Possibly a pricing error.

Yep, they are canceling the orders after charging the card. I bought one for myself and one for my dad. Canceled and then saying it's not available until October. Interesting for showing in stock.

CPO has $25 off a qualifying Milwaukee order of $150 or more. Free shipping too. The coupon code is LABORDAY . it still works, I just used it last night. The list of qualifying items is like 8 pages long or something.

They also have a promo on the new style 11in1 ECX? (WHATEVER ITS CALLED) screwdriver for a discounted price that comes with a free promo beer/soda can insulator sleeve.

Also, they have 3 left I think - of the small m12 Bluetooth job site speaker that comes with a m12 charger and 1.5 battery for $79 shipped. It's $69 for the bare tool price, so $10 for a charger and battery. This qualifies for the 25 off 150 btw.

No No and NOOO!!! bad deal guys; those are really old m12 design. Look at their m12 fuel line on their website.

it may be, but it is the current non-Fuel lineup. they Fuel line is getting upgraded this fall, but this is considered current. it may not be the best, but that is why they have different tiers. The Fuel set is $200/$230 on its own, before deals. This comes with a saw & other tool of your choice.

I agree Fuel is better, but not everyone needs it. heck, I probably dont

I don't need the fuel, I survived for years without it just fine. Don't get me wrong the extra torque of my fuel makes jobs quicker but I'm looking for an m12 set for small stuff like cabinets and hinges, don't need the fuel at all. If co sides it a great deal for someone looking for a non fuel set. Just because it's not the newest and greatest doesn't mean it's not worth it

Having just done a kitchen, I'd get the right angle impact over the standard impact. Unless you have a whole catalog of drill bits, you can just use the impact driver for most of the drilling using hex bits. Only downside of hex bits are the length, which tend to be 1/2 the length of std bits.

I'd suggest getting the CPOMil $99 right angle driver and $89 recon impact kit (nicer batteries than the linked kit 1.5v 2.0). With adapter, you can use the right angle hex drivers for auto work too.

The problem I found was the cabinet boxes themselves I left original, as they were in gokd shape and refinished them (made my own doors).... the impact started to crack some wood, the smooth operation of my drill worked a little better in my case.. I'm looking into m12 kits just to save the weight of lugging around the m18 for small repetitive work like dealing with 1/2" screws all day. I do need a right angle drill. I did the flip out sink drawer fronts.. that would have been a life saver. Getting an m18 in there sucked lol

Granted the brushed Hackzall ain't fantastic but I've worked the 2407 drill deburring tens of thousands of holes and impact drivers by their very nature are all at least "good". The 2462 is great for a homeowner sinking wood screws or using magnetic nut drivers. I own 'em all and I've used 'em all extensively so I speak from experience (I did gift away the brushed Hackzall after getting the Fuel).

I also own the Fuel counterparts and they're mostly better but the drills (2403/2404) are so sensitive to overload you can't hardly take advantage of their 1/2" chucks. I think we're supposed to be seeing Gen 2's soon in this department?

I keep the brushed drills and impacts around 'cause they VERY MUCH have their place to get work done!

All in all its a pretty good deal at HD a total 4 items for $199. I be hard pressed to decide which free one I would want :D

I have all of them except for the OMT

Over time I had bought both the 3/8 ratchet and hackzall as -21 kits and the Rover light a bare tool

That brushed impact was my first M12 tool purchase was a -22 kit for $79 and was my favorite for long time, Very capable as is the brushed M12 3/8" drill. I have driven loads of drywall screws with the impact a 1 inch PH2 bit locks the collet sets and will set a screw slightly countersunk in wall board (that doesn't work as well with the Fuel version I found)

As for the brushed drill I have the earlier version (no belt clip) and I also find I use it more often than the Fuel. The drill came with the M12 radio as a kit for $129

Hackzall will eat up those 1.5 ah like nothing as will the drill or vac with any heavy use. But the impact seems like it runs forever on them as will the ratchet. Can also get a fair amount of runtime with the Rover light too on the basic battery though I usually use a 2.0.

The oscillating tool. Good heavens I love mine. Don't use it as often as the impacts, but it is the tool that has saved me tons of time on many hard jobs (the biggest being removing undercoating on a race car).

It's my birthday today, and (lucky me!!!) I'm getting the bare 1/2" Milwaukee impact driver. Only, since I was expecting to have had the 3/8" M18 Fuel kit with extra battery in my hands three weeks ago, I won't have anything to power it....

Thanks RocketIAQ, I can't wait to stare at it and wonder how it works!!! Maybe I can lock up the motor and just use it like a nut driver tonight.

Rocketiaq... Beware

Still playing the game with rocketiaq, the deal is potentially to good to pass up.
