1. Use tree saver straps to avoid scarring rock

2. Borrow some co2 pillow jacks and a shovel ( 36 x 36 x 700 psi. It will move and not scratch)

3. Convince wife she already has found the perfect spot

Excellent job on the rock moving! Sometimes (definitely not always) it is a good idea to get the spouse involved in a project so they have some perspective on the amount of work/planning it takes to get the job done.

Lay down 2 metal pipes. Slide the rock across the pipes.

I'm a little late for this party, but when I was a kid, my mom moved a similarly sized rock about a foot all by herself.
Same issue, close to the edge of the driveway turning in from the road.
She just hit it with our '57 Pontiac.
