M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless 1/2 in. Cordless High Torque Impact Wrench with Friction Ring (Bare Tool)
1000022615
Local stores price: $219
On line: $199
Bought tonight: $154
Store: Maple Grove, MN

Probably because the new model is available. I've seen several promotions online that include a free impact, being the 2763-20. I'm surprised they didn't drop the prices sooner

FYI that dremel kit is $189...not $1.89

For the image upload from a smart phone you need to edit the picture, rotate it 90 degrees, save it, then rotate it back to the correct orientation and it will upload properly. Total PITA.

Hm. Silly. Sorry in advance to everyone, you'll have to l2read sideways if I continue to post. :)

They bottom out at $110 if your store has them on clearance. With the new model out I don't know why all of them aren't on clearance. I got some a few months ago. Don't really need the insane torque of the new one since I don't work on semi's :)

yea reports of milwaukee impact wrenches from like april or so in some areas. i had one store drop it then here, looks like theyre all dropping it now. as noted, i think ppl who got them in april said they didnt do a full drop.
the other benefit of the new model is it may be able to eliminate the need for a torque wrench... supposedly you can rig it to your phone and limit the torque on the whole gun... i dunno check the reviews and theres maybe more info now but about a month ago it didnt seem like anyone who actually used an impact had got their hands on one yet to fully describe the feature's limits and uses < or do a proper test with a decent torque wrench >
but at $100 or whatever i will be getting an old one just to have one.. cant beat it

there was a smaller fuel brushless impact wrench too just about a month or so ago.. very limited to which stores had it but it disappeared en masse at $80.00. it is useless compared to the full size one tho. youre best bet with the small stuff is to just use your impact driver with an adpater vs wasting cash on the little one IMO

Strolling around my HD I saw this ...
1ad0ed6990e1087836bc38e6ea60d048.jpg

Of course there weren't any in there.
I went to get dome stuff from the lumber department and in a corner I found the Ryobi ... of course there wasn't any reason for it to be there but there it was ...'
Took it to the cashier to figure out the price and the cashier told me he couldn't do it because of this ...

He said o sku ... can't sell it ;(

I'M A BELIEVER!!
I was back to HD today... I went back to the leaf blowers etc ...the clearance label was gone and I saw the box from the other day still there so, I went and checked the SKU and it showed $0.01 but 0 items available.
So, I went to the check out with the big box and paid for it.
The cashier took my money and gave me a receipt but she told me that she needed to check something and called her manager...
After 15 minutes of back and forwards with the manager she opted for letting me walk out with my 1 Penny purchase [emoji2]

Been looking for a 2nd drill (to avoid bit swapping so much), saw a few maybes.

I'm sure the dremel stuff is old news, but the quantity listed was exciting... Until I failed to locate it. Probably a full pallet hiding in some wacky place. Any insight into the nature of this deal? Pricing error maybe?

Also, what in the world is the issue with the posting of images here? I could not get the orientation correct... and I'm not computer challenged.

Type the sku into the home depot website, it comes up as this item: http://homedepot.com/p/202830990

I found this a while back. After searching for it and looking into it I realized it is mislabeled in the PCA. The actual bar code matches the cutoff wheel exactly. There must have been a mistake when the dremel was added to the PCA that they grabbed the wrong info (for the cutoff wheel). The dremel at that price does not exist

I've noticed sometimes clearance items in the PCA won't have the yellow box even though it is a clearance price... No idea what is going on.

As for those dremels, I would look up at the zillions of boxes in the tools area for that SKU, I'm sure there is a box full of them hiding somewhere just waiting for you!

yep i confirmed that phenomenon with the dewalt organizer boxes. some stores would show it in yellow and it would hit when filtered for clearance but others wouldnt. if you punched in just the sku it would show as a low price but it would not show up when filtered for clearance. it would say 'clearance' but it wouldnt be yellow... the pca's filter button seems to only show yellow tags only in my limited experience...

Those dewalt boxes show a penny now. They have been gone for months around here.It is crazy about the yellow clearance stuff.Only one area store had 18 volt ridged compressor at .03 pricing.

the 56 inch 10 drawer blue husky boxes dropped to $200.30 .......

The elusive markdown toolbox. Now that I need another box I can never find one. I like the blue Huskies at least the ones in the stores around here they are made in Canada and not China. Thanks for the post. Now I just have to go on a snipe hunt.

While you are looking, keep an eye out for this box.

Speaking from experience? The computer in my local store shows them in stock in a couple stores about an hour away. I've got nothing better to do today...
If it shows in stock online they are not clearing them out at that store.

When an item goes on clearance the website switches to "Not sold in stores/this store"

When I go to the home Depot website from my phone or home pc and select those stores it says only available online.

It was the in store terminal at my local store that said the far away stores had some @$55.00. 1 store had 1, the other had 3.

Not trying to be difficult, I appreciate the advice from more knowledgeable folks. If there is a better than 0% chance at that deal I'll take a ride :D

Actually, when the Milwaukee tool chest tops went on clearance several months ago. I’ve ordered them online for in store pickup which showed that they were in stock that day and got it for the clearance price of $50. So might be worth a shot. You’ll never know if you don’t check.

I checked the first store. They had 3, marked at $520.** and discounted on 5/11/17.

I asked an employee to check the price, he pulled out his personal cell phone and went to depot's website. The site showed it for $498.

I asked to check the store system, he asked why so I showed him the picture in the thread. It boggled his mind, he seemed angry, but we went to check. I pulled it up on the store terminal and it showed the $520.** price. So the in store clearance price was higher than online.

Second store that showed one in stock is on the way home, I'll stop in... I

Did he pull it up on the price check app on the pc or did he just pull up the Home Depot website? Most employees have no clue how to pull up the price check app on their computers.

I went to the PC at the contractors desk and searched the model number. Is there another way??

If I can't get on the PCA, I just go to the checkouts and ask the cashier to punch in the SKU to find out the in-store price. The employees are clueless and always try to check the website and argue with me if I try to explain why that won't necessarily be correct.

So the second home Depot that had the tool chest in stock also had it for $520.00 with a sticker date of 5/12/17. I wonder why these two stores are holding out?

That’s the correct way. Some employees still search their website even though it’s different prices in store.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'd hate to have to drive back there again tomorrow! :D
