Was helping a friend to some wrenching on his motorcycle this weekend. He had a set of Bluepoint long pattern metric wrenches...LOVED THEM!!!

I'm kinda in the market for some long metrics, but I'm still trying to complete my set of Proto Ratcheting wrenches right now.

My SAE long wrenches are SK and I absolutely love them; have had them for about 25 years and I'm very happy. I was planning on just buying the same for metric...

But now that I've worked with the Bluepoints, I'm pretty sure I'll be buying those. They're just a little cheaper, and they're just a little nicer than my SK's.

Not that it makes a difference to some, but I was surprised when I looked online and saw that the Blue Points are now Made in China. I thought they were Tawain....

I don't want this to turn into a COO thing, just noticed it and thought I pass along....

You might also consider toptul, so far those long reach have become my favorites and they aren't expensive at all. One of our guys here is a distributor for them if you're interested.

Coo is China says on snap ons website
Best China tools I've ever seen they look like USA made to me.

I have that exact same set in Case IH flavor. I also have the SAE set. coo is Taiwan on mine, they must have moved production. Either way, I've used mine hard for 10 years and I've never had a problem. I really like the feel of them in my hand.

Figured I'd show ya the ones I like. I tossed in the raised panel CM since everyone knows how long those are. And as you can tell they are indentical in length to these 40yr old Matco's. Something to consider this set from 10-19 runs about $50.
